Arthur Nzeribe formed ABN(Association for Better Nugeria) which went to court few days to June 12 1993 to get an injunction restraining NEC (National Electoral Commission) headed by Prof. Humphrey Nwosu from conducting the June 12 presidential election. NEC went ahead to conduct the election which was a clear case if violation of a court order thereby rendering the election null and void.

The rest is now history including MKO himself.
