DR Zakir Naik in Lagos?

Dr Zakir Naik, the world famous orator on Islam & comparative religion comes to Lagos, courtesy of the Islamic Platform of Nigeria.

Dr Zakir Naik founded the Islamic Research Foundation (IRF) in Mumbai (Bombay), India. Naik says he was inspired by Ahmed Deedat, an Islamic preacher, having met him in 1987. (Naik is sometimes referred to as "Deedat plus", a label given to him by Deedat himself.) Naik says that his goal is to "concentrate on the educated Muslim youth who have become apologetic about their own religion and have started to feel the religion is outdated."

How i wish i could attend the program but i'm having exams on sat & sun, though sunday's paper would be from 3-5pm, just maybe i could squeeze out time to attend on sunday, before heading for exam. Insha Allahu. I don't wanna miss out on this. Salaam.

The intention counts. Your studies is a form of jihad on its own. You don't have to leave it for this. If you can find a way to do both well, ma sha Allah. Your reward is great in sha Allah.

Lol, the same Zakir Naik that is notorious for dodging debates against pastors and theologians now wants someone to debate him and advertize his market to 20,000 customers!

If what he is saying is true, then the number of spectators shouldn't matter. He should be more concerned about defending his position to unbelievers regardless of the number rather than impressing already converted muslims who know no better.
