Nigerian Artists Dominate African Music Chart by yoyoauhunt: 8:17am On Jun 14, 2013 |
The latest episode of Elisha Baza Show, Africa's most influential music chart on radio, featured a stiff contest among top African stars from several African countries. The show which is aired in countries allover Africa, is a top 10 music countdown focusing on music by Africans alone. Nigeria had the highest number of representatives on the countdown with Banky W, Wande Coal and Vector, while South Africa and Ghana followed closely with two representatives each. The only Cameroonian artist on this weeks chart, Jovi, is the biggest star in his country and brings a different twist to the competition. Nigeria's Banky W keeps rising with his song Yes/No, while South Africa's Liquideep and Ghana's Keche are not left out of the shine. Nigerian Rapper Vector remains No.1 with Born Leader, featuring Jamaican star Mavado. All these indices are responsible for a total exciting package on radio every weekend on Elisha Baza Show. You can checkout the chart for yourself and also listen to the complete show online every week at www.elishabaza.com. |
