OliverPin: Catholics do not worship images. when we bow we bow at the mentioning of Jesus not to the images. the images are just there as images in remembrance. and the case of mary, we only ask her to assist us in prayers just like you will ask your pastors to remember you in prayers. the image is just there as remembrance and not God. i hope i have made some points
