This thread must av been sponsored by APC the bokoharamist. If office of first lady is legal, then why must one poke eyes on the podium?? Bro, wake up and find something else to do. If you think, her doing is illegal go and contest it in law court.... Mind you, she's your and our first lady and nothing stops her from using it. Also, for all the bingo's in the house saying that "the wife is controlling the husband, have you equally forgetten about "Turrai?" "Stella Obasanjo?" Etc? Kindly watch the govt of Obama and see d influence of his wife. If you don't like them, hang of transformer. 2 Likes |

ilugunboy: When I opined on a thread that no Nigerian President has ever debased our Presidency the way GEJ is doing and that out sovereignty as a nation is in the wrong hands...I was called names by the people that feel they are having the best of times under GEJ.. I totally agree with you. He takes Official property as personal property. I can remember the following gross misuse of public property: (1) Holding PDP family dinner in the banquet hall of Aso Rock 30/5/2013 (2)Holding PDP BoT meeting over 2 nights at Aso Rock (3) Reuben Abati, a govt employee bn used to announce the outcome of the BoT meetings. (4) Conveying his Presidential election application form to INEC office with a State House vehicle. These are all party activities, can PDP not rent halls for their events? 4 Likes |

J12: You folks should let this woman be for Christ's sake. So what if the office of the first lady is unconstitutional and she uses the nigerian coat of arms as an emblem? Does it change anything? No it doesn't.my friend shut d Bleep up! If with your age and level of education (if any) you don't know what a nation's coat of am means to then just keep your mouth shut and continue your ass-licking of this administration full of clueless, non-patriotic and senseless men and women. The question is this: is this the way forward. Seriously something is wrong with this country. We have never been contented with any administration in this country. We vote people in, but we still castigate them in government. The same people come back after 4 years we still sell our rights visibly. Good governance spans beyond the government, it involves you and i. We, the citizens show this lack luster attitude towards the progress of this country. We care less about how things are done. We just love the flavour associated with the failings of any government official, then we come here to castigate them. The fact is we need to support this people via various social media. They have morale which needs to be boosted. The fact is this: The change is here, we just need to be a little more concerned, not just being indifferent towards everything. The change is here and i strongly believe. @op, i'm sorry for deviating from the topic. |

take dat: Dame runs a parallel government, contemptuous of the constitution and act as though the nation is her fiefdom. Who will call "Madam Lazarus" to order? Is it an husband who doesn't "give a damn"? Members of the hallowed chambers of corruption? Or her handlers, who earn their livelihood by being "political bag-carriers"? If this is true, I see a basis for impeachment. The reports we keep getting of GEJ and his wife are disgraceful. We might have to cover our faces in shame when they leave office and their current secrets are exposed. |

You see when I call Jona "a drunken sailor fisherman" on this forum, those butt lickers will come with that dumb line of "respect the president". But in truth, who in his right state of mind will place an unconstitutional "first lady" over the Federal Executive Council if not a drunken sailor fisherman? |

taharqa2: The 'Office of d 1st lady', though legal was not created by d Constitution and so shld not carry such State insignas. Her handlers shld so advice her...How`s the so-called office of the first lady legal when it`s not created by the constitytion or any other law? I suppose what u mean is that the wife of the president is recognised as the first lady (not office), though the constitution does not provide so. Well, nigeria is a country where anything goes! |

take dat: Is it permitted for a private citizen to use a letter head with the Nigeria coat of arms on it for an informal or official use/purpose? You need a license for it because as a private citizen you are not accorded/entitled to the imprimatur of officialdom! Flags and Coat of Arms Act, Chapter 148 of Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 1990. I do not agree with your argument. The office of the First Lady may not be recognised in our constitution but it is provided official funding which is backed by constitutional authorities, -Presidency and National Assembly.. In line with this recognition by constitutional authorities, especially the Presidency, the occupant of the office is entitled to an official podium backed by all the paraphernalia of the Presidency. I do not fancy the present occupant, but that does not mean we must deny her the privilege that is attached to her office. 2 Likes |
