pls gurus how do I upgrade my rooted galaxy note gingerbread to jellybean? I have asked this question several times on many threads yet no solution.

Good guide will be appreciated.

I can help, but when you click on software update what response do you get?

No harm. If it is successfully updated you'll lose your root access and you can root again. However, if it fails you'll have to flash an official jellybean rom via Odin

1st of all,galaxy note 1 does nt come with gingerbread its jellybean 4.1 even s2 galaxy isnt gingerbread,and d5 isnt jellybean its ics, no tecno fones has ota/update its a STOCK OS.if u need upgrade get a new fone..thats y nexus fones seem to be the best fones to me,cus update comes there b4 it gets to anyother

Oh yes, its easy as pie, thats one of the reasons I prefer samsung.

errr point of correction it def comes wiv ginger bread i use it currently...@op abeg if u are successful me sef go like upgrade cos i neva lay mai hands on correct internet bundle take do am.... also heard that 4.2.2 can be loaded on our n7000 (rubs hands in glee)

for internet Bundle, I use MTN BBC 1k for a month, unlimited.

when did u buy urs Na new abi mint/used,the new one comes with 4.1,a frnd of mine got his last mnth(new) frm ebay gan gan..and its jellybean preinstalled ...anyway all join. I dnt think 4.2.2 dey yet sha..

There is enough custom rom for your phone in Xda, Cm Jellybean has thier roms update to even 4.2,that what am using In my touch 4g slide and by the way what you need is a rom that will give you a better battery life. But before you flash your phone, backup your old rom incase.

mehnn i am on d same plan butt i just 4 a reason i cant yet fanthom make mai sns account and web browser work 4 me. .and i have changed both apna 2 the blackbery and to the mtnnigeria own... and i tot mtn maxs out @ 3gb...
