I could remember vividly what happened to these three young men execution by the gap toothed General for an offence not worthy for a 3 years jail term. To put it quite plainly, one of those three Ogedengbe – was executed for a crime that did not carry a capital forfeit at the time it was committed...(WS). The execution of that youthful innocent for so he
was, since the punishment did not exist at the time of commission – was nothing short of premeditated murder, for which the perpetrators should normally stand trial upon their loss of immunity....(WS). Up till today he has shown no regrets about this his action and would do so again maybe in 2015 or after. Everybody saw what happened after the 2011 general election God forbid we will not witness such again.

Ijogz K: Who are they?

They were judicially murdered by Gen MumuNmadu Bokahari using a retroactive law.

Specifically, when Buhari took over power, he enacted a decree which made some crimes punishable by death. The law was made retroactive (back dated sort of), and those who committed such crime in before the decree, where nonetheless put to death.

You don't hold somebody at hand and make a law/decree. leaching criminals at sight/burningthem will reduce crime rate as well

Civilised countries don't murder their citizens for drug related offenses, they jail them!

You failed to state their offense! I feel it was deliberate.
Your post is intended to castigate buhari and prey on the sentiment of the southerners.
I'm no longer a fan of buhari but this thread reeks of slander and justification of crime.
You made the title appear like they were human right activist while you accepted they committed a crime not worthy of the punishment even though you deliberately failed to state the crime all through the post.

Its not deliberate I want young Nigerians to research hence find more truth about Buhari

For saying what he did? Are you for real? So if I say pdp is evil I am preying on the sentiment of Nigerians?

Not at all, crime should be punished but you don't catch a criminal and make a law instant. Remember their crime was committed before the decree so it should not be applied to their case.

You made the title appear like they were human right activist while you accepted they committed a crime not worthy of the punishment even though you deliberately failed to state the crime all through the post.
Let be not believe that your assumption is that its only when a human right activist is excuted that we should speak out.

Buhari himself was even a criminal as at then!

All coup plotters are criminals and that is why they are executed if the coup fails.

Nigerians are hypocrites, else the likes of Buhari should be in jail till now.

emm, @OP;
What else do you expect from one so hungry for blood?
He has even promised enough blood in 2015 if he looses the election!

It was drug trafficking!
The punishment was prison.

these fellows were already caught, already jailed and serving in prison.

Buhari came and changed it to death penalty and back dated it and then had them executed!

Easy bro.

Yes they were caught with drugs, but the punishment then was prison and not death!
Buhari put death penalty and killed them.

Think of this, the penalty for traffic offence is a fine of N3,000.00, you committed a traffic offence, you paid N3,000.00 and went home.

Six months later, a criminal gang of military officers took over power, and said penalty is now confiscation of the car. so you are arrested again and your car is confiscated. What do you think?

Buahri is a murderer!

you are getting it wrong sir.
I for one can never support drug dealers!

And premeditated murder cannot equally be excused. You call that a mistake? No sir, it was not a mistake, it was a delibrate act of brutality by a blood thirsty tyrant.

After so many years, Buhari has not yet changed. Rather than show case what he has to offer Nigerians, his speeches are coloured with threats upon threats.

Enough!

The criminals were executed for drug trafficking. It is obvious that drug trafficking thrive in your own blood too. Go on continue drug trafficking, what happened to the three criminals is awaiting you.

Maybe you don't know Buhari is much hated . He made a law about drug trafficking, then back dated it in order to snag people who did not go out of their way to disobey his law. It's not that anybody supported drug trafficking, it was because Buhari for some reason wanted to consumn these 3 youngsters life for publicity sake.

So, before the Buhari law, drug trafficking was legal and lawful?

A retroactive law that carries a death sentence is most unfair. Most people were not happy about it then even though they didnt support drug traficking. Some believe that its one of the things that led to a counter coup.

I personally will be happy for Buhari to bring a law in to allow death penalty for corrupt public office holders. By the time we hang Bode George, Anenih, Akala, Gbenga Daniel, Alams, and the rest of them, Nigerian youths can start to get brighter hopes for future.
Also include some lecturers, doctors, nurses, secretaries on life imprisonment.

If Buhari is the only alternative you have against Jonathan, then too bad.

It is as simple as that.
