Yes, by God's grace I squeezed into Round 2. As a brilliant Engineer who likes writing & poetry without studying Art technically, my joy is that my poetry isn't seen as crap. I just think we all should be encouraged to be better poets than ourselves. We just could hit the Hall of Fame someday.

@ Don oms u are right neither am i of the ARTS only came upon peotry as a means of expression. I attepmted the challenge only because i wanted a public critique of my work so i can know if i can truly call myself a poet-now i know...i did not even pick my best just randomly selected two from which i chose one to enter the competition. Even at this level i am satisfied.

Same here! I once submitted 3 poems for one to be published in a newspaper column & none was picked, so I just wanted a critique of my work as well so as to open rooms for improvement. It's a good thing Cuddlemii has done here.

Hey HBG, I don't know how to contact my designer 'PINS' and I don't have a link to his/her profile or email, so how exactly are we to get in touch, shouldn't they drop a means of communication to make things easier? sad

Ok ma'am! But I haven't picked a topic yet o. *still booting* And by d way, you have no intention of indicating which topics are 20/10/5 pointers, do you ma'am?

Good to hear that you made it. It's true, we could hit the Hall of Fame someday.
Bro, writing is not easy, especially being an engineering student like myself. I didn't make it, but that doesn't deter me. Show must continue, writing is my hobby.

Put in all your effort, you must qualify for the next round. I'm already a fan of yours. Fire on, bro. More ink to your pen

I like your spirit bro... truly, the show must go on. I hope to publish a book in the nearest future. Thanks for your encouragement, I'll do my best whether or not it leads anywhere.

I will work something out, please bear with me.

In the meantime, please all the those who will be doing round2, drop your email addresses on the address cuddles gave you, (nairalandpoets@yahoo.com) the topic should be; Round2 then your address, with your poet submission number so that I can link you guys with the designers.

Same goes for the designers

Hi

We will get the first person's reserved space removed, to avoid confussion. Please choose a hot topic for round two and just follow the rules.

Thank you very much for participating. All 58 contestants are winners! We just needed a few to make it to the next round because of the complexity involved. If it were possible to move everyone to the next round, in fact if I had enough designers, I would do it regardless of the stress it might incur.

By the way, I would just use this opportunity to clarify things, please simply refer to me as Cuddlemii, Cuddles, Cuddle or even Cuddy. smiley

good day miss, I also have a similar issue. The poster above me only reserved on spot, and left no number or title, and so I skipped him and followed the poster above him with Number 8, then the poster below me not understanding my action or reasons behind it, left an extra slot number and chose number 11.
My present Number is No.9
please what should I do?
