Well as a student i earn on per time basics. I earn like 10-15k per mnth depending on how i am active.
I do make money from forex forums. They pay good which you can use to trade and withdraw profits. Some forums allows you to withdraw without trading while other lets you withdraw 20 percent while the rest go for trading.

bad_ass_nigga: as for me I made 250k annually. I make this by helping final year students computer science write their codes, be it PHP, c++ or vb.net.
I av developed a couples of websites for small companies but I must confess d pay is not gud because I lack marketing know - how couple with d fact that they r not ready to pay big money. as for big company, no way.

finally, what I observed is that d future for software developer in Nigeria isn't Bright as far as am concerning frm ma experience because most clients don't even believe in locally made software.

d bulk of my money come frm writing codes for final year student.

C'mon, think! They won't believe except you make them believe by creating amazing software products! The countries you think are "great" had no credibility to the whole world on "Day 0" but once the critical mass was attained, everyone believed they could turn water to wine wine with their software ingenuity. Hope this is not a form Bragado. Anyways, I program for a leading insurance company. I basically develop ERP applications, ebusiness website for customer webbased transactions. I earn 240k per month. I know I deserve more than that but I am chasing my 3 years working experience before I port to another insurance company where I will be appreciated more.

Well I think its depend on d market, like last month, I made, like 112k, from 4 webdesign, 2 static site and 1 ecommerce site. But this month, I cnt say 4 now, but I have like 3jobs already, so till d end of dis month I go give una report!!!!!! But for real I dey like target dat 300boy wen d op mention.....by fire by thunder by force.

Thanks for your question. This is how i make my cash.

Firstly i build different websites for different clients and satisfied clients keep referring new people to me for new jobs. The minimum i charge for a web job and that is a static website is 50k and that one might be many (can't be specific) per month. Most big jobs i get which are above 500k come but not too often shaa but my agents take their cut too.

Secondly, i develop payment extensions(GTPay, Interswitch, Cashenvoy and Eyowo) for opensources like Opencart and Woocommerce and different clients especially from Nairaland keep buying them. I sell my payment extension for 15k but for custom jobs i might charge 50k and above depending on the task involved. Many clients keep purchasing them.

Finally, i do web programming consulting of upcoming developers and they pay for that. Most of the developers that consult me are my friends shaa, so i charge them small but most times free.

The last but not the least, everything i do is by the special Grace of God, and not by my might, experience or wisdom. This is how i make my money as a freelancer. Goodluck with your career.

I myself was shocked when I saw this post about the phone...
