Get a limited number of people that can invest 50k each they should be more than 5,that will total 250k .the 5 of you should meet face to face to decide what u will bring in.
Buy the goods in bulk,the major aim should be to get large quantity at a cheaper price ,when the goods arrive ,share it among urself and let everyone go his or her own way.all this I represent here or there like school children answering a roll call isn't necessary.
Look at what the ijebu ode guys are planning ,they are trying to meet and I am sure once they meet they will agree on what to buy and how much to contribute .

I agree with you. It could be more than one product per team. However, we must understand that it isnt all about dropping the money. The major work is on the marketing cos your importation will be nothing without having a good selling strategy.

ib4ola: i think we are getting there gradually, am of the opinion that we team up base on product interest, due to different market segment. Now for the security of Goods and Money i think we can still trust CVM on that. all we need to do is to communicate with Elina and Victor notifying them the type of Service we would require based on general agreement.. In terms of product my interest is in Mini Washing Machine reason is becoz i understand that aspect well and all we need is 10people to pull just 100pcs for trail with an initial deposit of around 40k each.

The Buyin'-Splittin' is good where there's adequate capital formation. Otherwise, I dont think there's a big deal in havin' dormant partner(s) aboard. Some are endowed wit marketin' skills but wit litu/no cash yl some have idle funds wit litu/no flair for marketin'. I bliv all that matters is havin' a profit-sharin' formular dat is acceptable to all parties involved

dav8id: Good idea @surveycash! Its a good idea and you need to handle it well. Never involve in too many item or goods but focus or hot selling items.

Anything communication pays alot eg tablet, memory card,modem, digital photo frame and many more.

Also, there is a very big market for the above mentioned item, though this biznes idea is a investing trading that involved importation of multiple goods in whice it will need alot of cash to get it started than focus on a particular goods or item.

For those that settle and welcome the idea of phablet or tablet and lcd advertising player should consider themselve smiling every day, as there is a big market for that and I AM ALSO READY TO PARTNER WITH THEM ONLY IF WE CAN HAVE ATLEASE 10 INTERESTED INDIVIDUAL IN THE TERM..

Option 1 (Capital and Profit share option)

The whole work is centered on
1. Research
2. Importation
3. Marketing.

Now,
I observed that so many old and new usernames in DIYIG are springing up interest in this JV. Good. It shows that people are ready to put in their money for a good return.

But not everybody have the time, the import knowledge and the market sense. That is why JV will be beneficial to all.

Like I said before, starting with one product is advised. More may be introduced as time goes on.


Option 2. (Quantity share option)
In this case, interested persons will contribute and order in large quantities, and then divide the goods on arrival. But marketing will have to be done individually. This option is very easy to set up state by state according to preferred products by partners.

My take:
I prefer option 1 because this can easily turn DIYIG into a corporation.

But I've seen that some people including our Oga El Matteo also opt in for option 2.
Maybe we should start with option 2 then.

for successful operation of this Joint venture we wil need trust:crowd control mechanism:equal contribution of fund; Marketing officers:one interest:good profit sharing formular....be warned some people are nt happy with this idea:they see it as bizness hazard:As for me am just watching
