It ovbiously will, alas 2400 is bigger than 1400 by 1000, but you must be careful as not all phone have the power to handle such voltage, so sometimes when the manufacturer put 600mah battery, it may not be because they want to, but maybe they have no other option as a phone like that cannot accept higher.

As for battery,it might be equal to l3's 2400mah,bcuz m3's chipset,mt6572e(arm cortex a7) consumes power 3times lesser than normal chipsets,and again it is the most efficient chipset ever made by Arm,so it beats l3's old arm cortex a9 hands down. The cortex a9 was made 2009,while cortex a7 was made early this year,so we need no old chip....and alas l3's gpu:p power vr sgx531,is notin 2 write home about...while m3's embbeded gpu is mali 400(mayn it rocks)####team m3 all d way

I tried checking up on batteries but didn't get anything. Can someone quickly specify how long this m3's battery would last under heavy web surfing? #that is with the 1600maH battery. Used the n96..battery was super miserable.. Cant go through that kinda experience ever again
