Hmmmm..a lot of people are being scammed in the country by some local/herbalist 419ers these days.
Many people are aware of the tricks they use while some are not, and by this, there will be need for us to share any of their tricks we are aware of so Nairalanders who still don't know about them can learn.

Let me share the one I was once told:
Scammers can give you soap which has a "magic stone" inside and ask you to bathe with it for spiritual deliverance. While bathing with it, the soap will explode (the explosion is a result of the magic stone inside the soap cos the water must not touch the stone, so if you don't know about it, you'll frightened and believe everything the scammer says is responsible for the explosion when you tell him your experience with the soap) and this will make you quickly rush down to the scammer's place and he may tell you that the soap explosion is due to numerous spiritual problems revolving around you. That's the beginning of the game in which the person may end up loosing fortunes.

Please share any of the tricks they use that you know.

FOREX SCAMMERS

These are well known forex scanners, they claim that they'll send foreign currency to your Domiciliary account when you pay them in naira and promise to do that at rates very close to the official CBN rates. Recently Naij set up a peer to peer market place for forex sellers to meet willing buyers : bdc.naij.com

But naij have failed to properly screen the sellers every week over 15 people get scammed by the so called Forex Traders, Nigerians fall prey to the fraudsters because Naij.com claim that the Forex Sellers have r
passed moderation and / or extra checks by NAIJ.com’s specialists.

Being a reputable entity, my uncle decided that if naij.com screened a forex seller and let his advertisement to sell dollars come online, then the forex seller had to be legit.

Here are the numbers and bank accounts of people claiming to be forex sellers and continually duping innocent Nigerians of their hard earned money.

NAME - CHIJIOKE CONFIDENCE MMADUABUCHI
Number - 08061140520

NAME - AIYEGBENIN BENJAMIN OSEWEL
Number - 09067062921

I'll be creating a website soon with database of fraudsters with contributions from Nigerians all over the world always remember to share your story to help others and also stay sharp, to avoid stories that touch
