The school of basic and remedial studies, Ahmadu Bello University, Funtua, announces the sale of application forms for admission into 2013/2014 academic session, which will commence from Friday 12th July, 2013 to 20th September, 2013. Candidates are admitted from educational least developed states of the North for possible placement into degree programmes at Ahmadu Bello University and other Universities as approved by the Federal Government.
1. ADMISSION REQUIMEMENT
(a) REMEDIAL
i. Candidates applying for this programme must have at least (3) credits in science subjects with any of the following combinations: RS1: Biology, Chemistry, Geography; RS2: Biology, Chemistry, Physics; RS3; Biology, Geography, Physics; RS4: Chemistry, Geography, Physics; and two (2) passes at ‘o’ level in the other subjects offered in the school.
ii. Candidates applying for the programme MUST register with JAMB for 2013/2014 academic session and MUST choose ABU as first choice.
iii. The duration of the programme is NINE (9) months only.
(b) Basic (IJAMB)
i. Candidates applying for this programme must have at least five (5) credits including English and Mathematics with any of the following combinations: BS1: Biology, Chemistry, Physics; BS2: Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics; BS3: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics; BS4: Chemistry, Geography, Physics; BS5: Mathematics, Geography, Physics.
ii. The duration for the programme is twelves months only
2. METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Go to the SBRS e-forms portal at sbrs.abu.edu.ng/eform
2. Click on the TRANSACTION-ID LINK to create your account and generate your unique transaction-ID and password.
3. Print out the payment slip and proceed to any of the designated banks and make payment.
4. Go back to the portal and log in with your ID and password to fill and submit your form.
5. The form fees is #2,500.00 only; however, the banks will also charge an administrative fee of #200.00 only.

iii. UBA Plc
iv. Keystone Bank Plc
7. Please Note that payment should only be made through the designated banks listed above and the pre-admission test will commence from September 23rd – 28th , 2013.

sciences, Arts and Humanities
The program (IJMBE) as articulated on page 4, item
2.2 of the JAMB brochure, runs for less than a year
during which candidates will receive lectures in
preparation for the final examination(coming up by
February 2015)
During the program you will be groomed
extensively on your subject combinations. The
subject combination is being determined by the
course you want to study in the University(as
applied to UTME). For instance, a student who
wants to study Law will offer Literature-In-English,
Government and Economics/ Business
administration.
The Requirements for the Program is a complete O/
Level Result (Max of 2 sittings) and 7 Passport
photographs.
Candidates with deficiency in Mathematics and
English Language can also apply as they will have
the opportunity of registering for any/both subjects.
