Solar Cable
High quality wire is a key factor for your system. choosing the lowest cost wire usually result in systems that are inefficient. For solar current, high grade solar wire is the best option. We sell pure copper solar wire, encased in a rubber sheathing. The rubber sheathing on solar wire protects against electrical shock in damp conditions and prevents damage from outdoor elements and the sun.

Batteries

How much power does a battery hold? True deep cycle batteries contain Watts, AMPS and Volts. Viewing the label on a battery, we can see how
many volts and amps a battery contains. By multiplying the VOLTS times
the AMPS we can estimate how many WATTS of power that battery holds.

VOLTS x AMPS = WATTS PER BATTERY

6 Volt Battery x 250 AMPS = 1,500 Watts

12 Volt Battery x 100 AMPS = 1,200 Watts

Using Solar to Charge a Battery

The big question – How long will it take to charge a battery? If a battery
holds about 1,200 watts of power. It would probably take a 100 watt
solar panel about twelve hours to charge that battery from empty to full.
In comparison it would probably take a 50 watt solar panel about twenty
four hours to charge that same battery from empty to full.

1. What diff. is there btw 1500w & 2000w inverter? What can 2000w do dat 1500w will nt be able 2 do? Enlighten d house.

2. If I hv 1500w inverter wt 200ah deep cycle battery, hw long (average no. of hrs) wil it last for:
1 unit x 21" TV
1 unit x decoder
1 unit x laptop
2 units x ceiling fan
8 units x bulb of 60w each

3. Using d 1500w inverter & 200ah wt only a deep freezer, how long will it last?

4. Is your inverter wt charger & auto switch? Or charger is bought separate?

5. Hw much is your 1500w & 2000w inverter?

Thank u.

Literally, your question is like asking the difference between N1500 and N2000. Everyone knows that N2000 will purchase more goods than N1500 but technically, a 2000W inverter has a greater load carrying capacity than a 1500W inverter. Assuming in my house, i have an Electric Iron rated 1000W, a fridge rated 200W and Ceiling fan rated 50W. My total load becomes 1250W. A fridge will require 2.5times the rated watt to start, this means a fridge will need 500W to start.
If your inverter is 1500W, its not possible for you to be using your Iron and still put on the fridge, the inverter will shut down on overload but the 2000W inverter will pick all your load at the same time. Hope this answers your question and thanks for your interest.

A 1500W Inverter using a single 12V 200ah deep cycle battery

Total battery watthr is 12V x 200ah equals 2400W
Your inverter is not designed to drain the battery completely, assuming you only have 1800W usable battery watthours.
Your total load stated above is about 800W. This means that your Inverter should work for 3hours. Take note, when using inverter, its not expected that all the above mentioned load will all be ON at thesame time so if well managed you can have like 6hours or more out of the battery. Thanks

I will respond to the other questions later, once again, thanks.

I have 1200W for 25k and 2000W for 45k without external charger. The external will depend on the light situation in your area.
Thanks

Thnks 4 your insightful analysis. Hope dis also helps some1 out there too!

However, u omitted question 3.

What good battery frm your stock wil u recommend wt your 1200w? Brand new or like-new? What is d implication of each vis a vis durablity. Hw much do u sell each?

Now looking at a typical situation where all d above listed loads are ON with Nepa light & suddenly Nepa takes light. Wt dis inverter that has inbuilt auto switch, I want 2 believe dat none of d loads wil go OFF cos d power wil switch immediately to battery source. Is dat nt what d auto switch does?

Or u mean, if Nepa takes light, all d loads go OFF? Then, I hv 2 go around d inverter & manually switch over to battery power? And then start to ON d TV, decoder, laptop, fan, etc all over again?

Pls clarify.

I deliberately omitted question 3 because the answer to question 2 invariably answers question 3. Its just a matter of getting the wattage of freezer and dividing it by the usable watthrs of the battery bank.

The brand of battery i sell are the deep cycle valve regulated maintenance free batteries, i'll recommend that for my Inverter. Brand new works longer and more durable. Fairly new will serve too but not as long as new, i have customers that has been using my fairly new batteries for up to 2yrs. now and its still going on strong. I have fairly new batteries that i have been using personally for about 3yrs. and its still okay.
It really depends on how much you can afford.

Brand new 12V 200AH - 52k
Fairly new 12V 200AH - 20k (depends on availability)

Thats exactly what the Auto switch does, you'll hardly know when NEPA comes in or goes off. What i mean by effective management of your load is this, its expected that you'll have a NEPA indicator to tell you when utility is absent or present, also the inverter display tells you either you're on battery or utility, as soon as you discover that NEPA supply goes off, you'll have to go round to reduce the load on it. Remember the inverter can power all the load but our goal here is to increase the runtime of the battery and this can only be achieved by switching OFF devices thats not absolutely necessary at every point in time when you're on inverter alone.

Hope this answers your question and thanks a million for your interest.

Dis issue of 'deep cycle' battery, pls, is dis diff. frm typical trailer vehicle battery? If yes, pls what makes d diff.?

Deep cycle and trailer battery both use the same chemistry, utilizing lead and acid to make Electricity. The difference is that trailer battery wants to give a big surge, then when started, the alternator gives power to the trailer and it is usually never discharged more than 20%. It does this by using thin lead cells thereby creating more surface area. The deep cycle can provide a big surge when needed but uses thicker cells which makes it possible to be recharged fully over and over again and it can provide steady current over a long period of time.

Yes I do and the 30ah cost 15k.
That you need external charger or not depends on the light situation in your area. The external charger is just to complement the inbuilt charger, the battery gets fully charged quicker especially when you have to rely on generator for charging.

I fully recommend all my product.
