@OP, great piece there, completely reminiscent of my time as a CCR with MTN call center in Jos. The CCR job is quite an interesting one, no dull moments at all . The down side to it however is the paltry take home at the end of the Month .
Trust me, you will converse with different personalities from the completely ignorant to the utterly insane .

As hard as i tried not to laugh out loud. The "marry me" part made me LOL.

This got me laughing real hard indeed... Reminded me of my call centre experience, & beleive you me the poster is very correct becuase you'll definitely encounter situations like this & lots more. But i really did enjoy the whole experience because it shaped my customer service skill, interpersonal skill, ability to communicate effectively with people of all ages, empathasing with a client while in difficulties, going the extra mile to get issues resolved, & lots more. The call centre is not a bad place to start up a career as a young mind but doesn't have much room for career development.

My younger sis works as a CCA at etisalat and it's not an easy thing. The kind of stories she tellsus when ever she comes back is so funny and u would be suprise dt ppl have time to call even when she is on. Night duty, no break at all. I call her nurse eliza because of her duty time.
