Useful. But there is a better app which doesn't require all of this process, it's called "whatsapp for two lines" and it's on google play. All you need is just a rooted device, and whenever you need to switch, you just click on the app and voila, u Hv your second account on. You can actually have as many whatsapp accounts as possible.... You call also have that of your gf  just in case you think she is cheating on you. Provided you have her phone with you the first time you are registering the account, so u would just get the short code whatsapp sends and register it on your phone... You would also be getting her messages when you switch over to her account.  . Seriously android is wonderful.1 Like |

This method will wipe away some off your data, download 2lines for whatsapp, its on playstore and its more easier to Use plus it doesn't wipe away your data |

You call also have that of your gfmy bro, no vex, na for early mor mor like this i can get 3G. so sometimes i wake up this early to surf the net freely, esp downloads. pls am in need of this 2 acounts for whatsapp without wiping off risk. i already downloaded 2Lines for whatsapp(root) but after granting root acess, it does not identify my root state, it further tells me to get busy box which i have done. but insteaad of proceeding to what i downloaded it for. anytime i open the application it still keeps relinking me to download busy box even tho its been instaled and granted super user peemission. can you be kind enough to put me thru bro? |

I use OGWhatsApp and there was no lost of data whatsoever. You don't need to root your device to have 2 WhatsApps running.
