TO ALL OUR FOREIGN FRIENDS WHO ARE
CURIOUS TO KNOW THE MEANING OF ASUU
STRIKE:
ASUU Strike is an annual festival done in
Nigerian Universities whereby students are
not allowed to go to school during the
festival. The date of the event is always fixed
by the lecturers of Nigerian state
and federal universities.
The event is remarkable in that everyone is a
spectator.
Highlight of the festival is the wrestling match
between federal executive council and the
leaders of the lecturers. There is no referee to
officiate the wrestling match, as such the
wrestling comes to an end when both
contestants
are tired.
The duration of the festival is indefinite
depending on the strength of the wrestlers.
If you are wondering were to
spend your vacation then Nigeria should be
your destination because the festival is at its
peak.

From Me, I challenge every Nigerian student to
sit down ds period and find d facts about ds
recurrent dilemma and battle between ASUU
and FG and take a positive stand never to let
ds continue in a few yrs to come.
Else the same hands dt criticise whatever side
of d two wrestlers today will sure be in dt
position a few yrs from now and will do d
same things or even worse.
ASUU and FG fight is only a reflection of d
greed and insensitivity I see in many Nigerian
establishments even in d offices of d same
ASUU members who accuse the FG of d same.
May God help U and I to raise Hope for d

Can't believe that people, especially Nigerian students don't know the meaning of ASUU

The irony of this post is not the blatant sarcasm or trolling against the government's insensitivity towards Nigeria's future leaders: Her students, but rather the fact that this post, which was made in 2013, is still relevant almost ten years later. Shame.

I don't know which sector to point to as a functional and active one in this country. How I wish we can ask God to take away few of our natural resources and give us the courage and directive in chosing good leaders.
