fashola should ask himself this question. why are lagosian buying okada and not cars for taxi or buses. the answer is because they dont have the money. why do they not have the money , because him fashola have not done his work well.

if the federal take 100 billion each month from lagos. if you put a 50% tax on it. you get back 50 billion, which remain in the economy and it increase your per capital income in the state.

if you have 3 billion coming in. divide by 20 million people. it give you N150 per person.

if you put 50% . 50 billion gives you. N2500

the standard of living of the people of lagos will become better by 16 times..

you will come and thank me.

this is how they run govt all over the world.

you put the law in place and throw away your cell phone and run abroad.

by 1 month after all the companies and banks will have been paying. you will return. when they call your gsm several times.. any nobody pick up. it will be over. federal agency pay to lagos already.. airport land is own by the lagos govt. it is false to say ikeja area is own by federal it was not. it was part of western nigeria and not part of the colony of lagos. national art theater is on lagos land to correct the falsehood, i listen to.

this is what happen in lagos economy. federal govt is the one creating poverty in western nigeria. you see all the president and prime minister i know. it is because they ran to exile .

you have the power to reject who ever the federal govt sent to your state. if you feel the person is not working in your best interest. you can ask the federal to remove the person or withdraw the land license of the federal agency or bank which is not in your own interest. anyone in lagos most work for lagos.

banks or telecom etc which do not agree with it. you revoke their land license and ban them from operating in lagos. you have the power as a state to ban a bank from operating even if they have a federal license.
