Yep. I'm a big fan of CD's. I don't buy often but when I do I get loads off them. I hate downloading anything. Bloody annoys me |

I only buy rare songs or albulms on i-tunes. The rest i get off pirate bay . I personally think the entertainment industry is ripping us off as is and their model has to change to an ad-centric one if they want to win the war against piracy. Of course this suggestion will be moot in rich and advanced societies, but in emerging countries like India, China and Nigeria with a large low-income class this could make all the difference; a model that is ad-driven may dissaude a lot of customers from going to torrent sites to download. If i can get a blue print I album free, a targeted ad will be a minor price to pay. |

I buy albums now more than before. I find it cumbersome locating files easily on my cars mp3 players(which is where I have time to play audio) thanks for music channels on cable. so I have a tab at the music store at the mall for audio cds. |

Internet and mp3 has has taken away.the glorious days of cassettes and original Album with leaflet. Purchasing foreign album back then one wuld get to see the artiste pics and informations on how each track is produced, what studio and credit wuld be given to those that are invovled on the completion of the project.sometimes the leaflet on the cd could be used as poster.I miss those dayz. |

I still buy music CDs, but only for really good albums. I bought Bez, and more recently, I bought Waje's album. You have to understand that the artistes themselves are less interested in selling albums these days, and more interested in getting popular enough to be booked for big concerts, and to get brand endorsement deals. So they in fact, sabotage their own album sales by giving their singles for free, or "leaking" it on the internet. 1 Like |
