* Party’ll split, come back to PDP

The Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu has predicted that the newly registered All Progressives Congress, APC will soon disintegrate and its members struggle to join the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Ekweremadu stated that despite the fanfare that heralded the registration of APC as a political party, the PDP has never for one day lost sleep over its entrance into the political firmament, stating instead that the PDP was happy because it makes the issue of contending with multiple opposition political parties simpler for PDP to handle.

The Deputy Senate President spoke yesterday on the sidelines during the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the National Institute for Legislative Studies and the University of Benin at the National Assembly on how to offer post graduate diploma and masters degree programmes in Legislative Studies, Parliamentary administration and legislative Drafting.

He said: “We are not worried about the APC, for us that makes the game more interesting. Before, we used to contend with several parties and now we have just only one party to contend with and it makes the matter much easier for us.

“You know in Nigerian politics, gang-up never works. So, they will split and they will still come back to us in the PDP and we will welcome them.”

14yrs of pdp and no tangible progress at the centre. Instead of working to develop the country, pdp members are busy fighting themselves. Our president and the shepopotamus are busy bullying ameachi and their percieved enemies.

my dear better said than done, watch out 2015 will be christain versus muslem, then we will knw the religion that is more in number, reasons, take a look at apc all their principal officers ar muslims as such their presidential candidate will also be one. That will make the war easy, becos paul will be seperated from banabas, nb am not big fan of pdp so dnt get me wrong
