But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged. 1 Corinthians 11:31 NASB

When you judge and compare yourself by yourself or with others, the Bible states that you are not wise (2 Corinthians 10:12). When you became born again, your identity changed; you are no longer the sinner or failure that you used to be. There was a rebirth: a change in nature and identity. Your life was exchanged with that of the Lord Jesus. He that knew no sin, was made sin for us, so that we could become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Your present circumstance does not define you or whom God has made you. Some people might mock you, saying there aren't any obvious changes. Why aren't you married, why are you without money or a job? One thing you must understand beloved, is that the workings of grace in your life might seem slow, but it is very sure. You might not see any growth right now, but just keep on believing.

The work of grace can be likened to the physical growth of a human: no one knows the exact time when those inches were being added, but one notices an increase in height. Sometimes, it's other people that first comment on the growth. And when those inches are added, it is sure. Beloved, keep judging yourself based on what Jesus has achieved for you, keep your eyes on Jesus- the word of God and you'll see a sure transformation and growth in every area of your life.

Prayer: Lord Jesus I behold You constantly and consciously. Amen.
