When angels first appeared on the show (before Cass), the angels tried to kill the Winchesters (and everyone) because they wanted Armageddon to take place and even sided with demons. That was before Michael and Lucifer got locked in hell. From the moment angels were introduced there was hardly any good news from them.
So in my opinion the angels are definitely scary. Maybe not as scary as the demons but definitely scary.

Supernatural cannot end without God making an appearance because how long will his holiday last or is it sabbatical and the way those two spoilt brat (Lucifer and Michael ) are misbehaving God is bound to appear and I can't wait to see who would play his/ her character.
The show has always been crazy and I think those writers would push the envelope on God and not to forget this Winchester boys really believe they have a score to settle with him for allowing his brat to just toy with humans like rag toys.
The part that I can't stop freaking off about is writing out the concept of Jesus this show is crazy and it is the best.
I wouldn't be sup prised that one of the Winchester boys is the Christ those two boys have escape too many without being somebody, those boys make Angels tremble.

The Concept of Jesus wont fit into the Story You know?..That lovely and Peaceful son of God character will dull the show...

Sam is dying from the events of the previous
episodes. He dreams that he's talking with
Dean, who is trying to convince him to fight
to live, and Bobby, who is trying to convince
him to let go and die. Sam decides to follow
"Bobby's" advice and meets Death, who has
come to reap Sam personally. Castiel, now
human, meets an angel, Hael, who is
seemingly looking for guidance. She turns out
to want to possess him, as the body she is in
now is too weak to contain her, and Castiel is
forced to kill her. Dean prays to the angels
for help; this causes the angels who are
angry at Castiel for locking them out of
Heaven to come for Dean and attack him.
However one angel, Ezekiel, claims to want to
help. As he is too weak, he needs to possess
Sam so he can heal him from the inside while
at the same time healing himself. Dean
agrees to this, and Ezekiel takes on Dean's
form to talk to Sam in his head, and
convinces him to say yes. Ezekiel possesses
Sam, and with Dean's agreement he erases
Sam's memory of the event and stays hidden
in Sam while healing him secretly.

Sam and Dean take the captive Crowley to
the Men of Letters bunker to try to get the
locations of all the demons on Earth from
him. Abaddon is restored to her vessel Josie
Sands, and starts a movement to take over
Hell. With the help of three demons that take
soldiers as vessels, Abaddon captures two
hunters and uses them to lure Sam and Dean
into a trap. Ezekiel briefly takes control of
Sam and kills the three demons, causing
Abaddon to flee. Sam continues to be
unaware of his possession, as Ezekiel made it
look like Dean killed the demons. Kevin
searches for a way to reverse Metatron's spell
and kill Abaddon. He confronts Crowley, who
claims that Linda isn't dead. Kevin tries to
leave the bunker to find Linda himself, but
Dean convinces him not to go by telling him
that he's family and that even if his mother is
alive, she is as good as dead.

An angel faction led by Bartholomew, a
follower of Naomi, uses an internet preacher
to encourage devout people to agree to
possession. Bartholomew is actively hunting
for Castiel, who is homeless and trying to find
his way to the bunker. One of Bartholomew's
angel followers finds Castiel, but Castiel kills
him and gets a tattoo to ward himself.
Bartholomew then sends rogue Reapers; one
follows and is captured by Sam and Dean.
Dean asks Ezekiel for help by having him
search for Reapers, eventually tracking down
Castiel's location. Castiel meets a woman
named April who takes him in and they have
sex, but she is one of the Reapers and
tortures Castiel for information on Metatron.
Sam and Dean arrive, but April kills Castiel.
Dean asks Ezekiel to resurrect Castiel, then
tells Castiel that it was the Reaper who
resurrected him. Castiel goes with Sam and
Dean to the bunker, but Ezekiel tells Dean
that either Castiel must leave or he will,
claiming that it's unsafe for Ezekiel since the
other angels are still hunting Castiel. Dean
tells Castiel he must leave.

In 1935, Dorothy Baum ( Tiio Horn ) arrives at
the Men of Letters bunker with The Wicked
Witch of the West from Oz in hopes of finding
a way to kill her. Failing to do so, Dorothy
binds herself and the Witch inside a jar. In
the present, Sam and Dean discover that the
bunker's map table is connected an ancient
computer. They call in Charlie Bradbury in the
hopes of hacking the computer, but while
they're in the room containing the computer,
Dean accidentally releases Dorothy and the
Witch. The four work together to stop the
Witch's plans; she is after a key that can be
used to enter Oz, and Dean knows where it is.
The Witch attacks them and Charlie dies
protecting Dean. Dean has Ezekiel resurrect
Charlie, who figures out that the Oz books
were clues from L. Frank Baum, one of the
Men of Letters, to Dorothy, who is his
daughter, on how to defeat the Witch.
Dorothy figures out that the Ruby Slippers
can kill the Witch. The Witch possesses Sam
and Dean, and Dorothy holds them off, while
Charlie goes after the Witch herself and kills
her. With the Witch dead, Dorothy returns to
Oz to free it from the evil forces, and Charlie
goes with her.

A taxidermist in Enid, Oklahoma is
constricted to death by a man with snake-like
traits, and a shelter worker is killed by a man
with cat-like traits. Sam and Dean investigate
and find the taxidermist's dog, The Colonel,
who witnessed both murders. Dean casts a
spell that allows him to communicate with
animals but causes him to take on dog-like
traits. They question The Colonel and various
other animals, discovering that a man named
Chef Leo is using shamanism to take on the
traits of various animals. Chef Leo attacks
and mortally wounds Sam, but witnesses
Ezekiel's healing and knocks Sam out. Dean,
using his dog senses, realizes that Chef Leo
has cancer. Chef Leo is taking on the traits of
various animals to try to find a cure, and he
hopes to eat Sam and take his healing
ability. Dean summons the dogs from the
shelter who maul Chef Leo to death. Dean
takes The Colonel to the animal lovers and
then returns to normal.

Four people mysteriously combust in Rexford,
Idaho, where Castiel is working as a sales
associate at a gas station. He calls Dean,
who leaves Sam and Kevin at the bunker
doing research, to investigate with Castiel.
They visit the crime scene of the newest
victim, and Castiel recognizes it as the work
of a Rit Zein, a class of angel healers who are
able to mercy-kill mortally wounded angels.
Castiel goes to the house of his boss, Nora,
thinking she'd asked him for a date but she'd
actually wanted him to babysit her daughter.
While there, Castiel is attacked by Ephraim,
the Rit Zein, who heard his pain and is there
to kill him. Dean arrives in time to throw
Castiel an angel sword, which Castiel uses to
kill Ephraim. Dean then leaves Castiel to his
normal life. At the bunker, Kevin is only able
to translate the angel tablet into an obscure
form of cuneiform . Sam and Kevin make a
deal with Crowley: in exchange for allowing
him to call Abaddon, he will translate it for
them. Crowley learns that Abaddon is
collecting souls early, going back on
Crowley's deals and reshaping Hell. Crowley
reads the translation for Sam and Kevin,
telling them that Metatron's spell is
irreversible. Sam informs Dean, who keeps it
from Castiel and Sam later catches Crowley
injecting himself with Kevin's blood for an
unknown reason.

Dean gets a call from Sonny, an old friend,
who runs a reform school in Hurleyville, New
York asking for his help when a man is
mysteriously killed at the school. Sam learns
that Dean spent two months at the school in
1995 after he got caught stealing food.
Instead of it being a hard time for Dean, he
enjoyed it and flourished, along the way
befriending and falling for a girl named
Robin. On the night of a school dance, John
returned to collect Dean and, despite Sonny's
offer to let him stay permanently, Dean
leaves. In the present, Dean meets up with
Robin again. Sam and Dean go to the reform
school, where they talk with a boy named
Timmy and see a drawing of his mother's
death. The ghost is Timmy's mother, who has
been protecting him but been going insane
from being tied to Earth. Timmy's mother
tries to kill them, but Dean gets Timmy to be
assertive for the first time and tell his mother
to leave. Listening to her son, Timmy's
mother grows peaceful and finally moves on.
Sam and Dean leave, and Robin now
understands why Dean left without saying
goodbye when they were younger.

Investigating mysterious disappearances in
Hartford, South Dakota, Sheriff Jody Mills
(guest star Kim Rhodes) calls in Sam and
Dean to investigate as there are reports of
strange flashes of light and unnatural
strength involved. Sam and Dean believe that
it is dragons because only virgins are being
taken and join a church chastity group. Dean
goes home with the group councilor and
discovers that she is one of his favorite porn
stars and has sex with her. At the same time,
Sam and Sheriff Mills discover that the
people taken are actually people who have
broken their vows of chastity and rush to
warn Dean too late. Dean and the councilor,
Suzy Lee, are dumped in an old fallout
shelter where the rest of the victims are
except one who has already been taken away.
Dean manages to call Sam, but the call gets
cut out quickly, but Sam gets a clue from the
sound of a train whistle in the background.
Sam and Sheriff Mills are able to figure out
where Dean is and that they are dealing with
Vesta, Roman goddess of the hearth. After
forcefully getting the needed virgin blood for
the stake that can kill Vesta, they travel to
the farm where they confront Vesta. Sheriff
Mills kills Vesta, but not before she reveals to
Sam that his body is in bad shape. Dean
breaks free and the three rescue the surviving
victims. Afterwards, Sam questions what
Vesta said and Dean considers telling him
the truth, but Ezekiel convinces him not to.

A civil war starts between angels working for
Bartholomew and angels working for Malachi,
an anarchist, both of whom want to rule
Heaven which will end in disaster. Sam and
Dean initially investigate with Castiel, but
Ezekiel makes Dean send Castiel away.
Desperate, Castiel prays for help and is met
by an angel named Muriel who is neutral in
the war. Castiel convinces her to hear him
out and she explains what she knows, but he
is captured by Malachi and another angel
named Theo who were tracking Muriel.
Malachi tortures Castiel for information on
Metatron, killing Muriel to try to force him to
tell him what he knows. He reveals that many
angels died in the Fall from Heaven, including
Ezekiel. Malachi leaves Castiel alone with
Theo who wants to defect to Metatron's side.
Castiel tricks Theo into releasing him, then
steals his grace, turning him back into an
angel and at least partially restoring his
powers. After escaping, Castiel calls Dean to
warn him about "Ezekiel." At the same time,
Metatron meets with "Ezekiel" who is revealed
to really be the angel Gadreel who guarded
the Garden of Eden until the Serpent got in
and was disgraced. He was released by the
Fall and Metatron proposes working together
to restore Heaven with angels that they like
(Metatron having grown bored with his
solitary rule of Heaven). Gadreel is initially
reluctant, but agrees and is given orders by
Metatron to kill someone to prove his
allegiance. After learning the truth from
Castiel, Dean uses a sigil to knock Gadreel
out so that he can tell Sam the truth, but
"Sam" knocks him out and reveals himself to
really be Gadreel, having altered the sigil so
it gave him control rather than Sam. Gadreel
kills Kevin and leaves, taking with him the
angel and demon tablets, but leaves Dean
alive to mourn the loss of Kevin and Sam.
