NL member: @ All the unmarried women reading this thread.

For your own good you'd better stop thinking marriage is a do or die affair.
Get your priorities straight and do something to leave your footprints in the sands of time, be a notable person like genevieve or chimamanda. These women achieved greatness without marriage.
You can do the same.
One love cool

Who ever told you that women who seek marriage have not achieved something? Nobody is talking of achievement here, we are talking of marriage please in spite of your achievement. You missed the point because no woman has said that not being married has prevented her from achieving greatness. Whether you want to agree or not, every woman (except lesbians) desires to get married to a man. That is a fact and you shut ur eyes and ears to it!

If you want women to continue chasing men blindly instead of achieving their potentials then say so, stop using this foolish reason as a justification for forcing marriage on everybody.

Btw any insult you address to me on this thread will return back and follow your family to your tenth generation. In jesus name amen grin

I sent you an email.

What is wrong in saying that something is a fallacy?

Does this mod know the meaning of fallacy at all?

I like how the men on this thread are seriously arguing to force the belief that marriage is a do or die for women smiley
It shows that men actually desire marriage as much as women do.

I suspect that news source sef. Maybe the writer is a man who was turned down by a girl he loves so he fabricated the story to make dumbass women panic because he cannot handle rejection.

I'm terribly sorry for the previous accusations.. I sure can feel ur pain..

1. It's not easy to be gang rap-ed at an early teen age..
2. To be jilted by countless guys..
3. To be used and dumped like a pile of bullsh*it..
4. So frustrated and concluded to be a lesbo
5. So ugly, to be asked out by a guy..
Just keep calm. All is well ! Don't let all these wear u down.. cheesy grin

i have observed this trend for a while now, but come to think of it, has anyone noticed that a lot of males are being delivered nowadays. i may be wrong but that's what i have seen. A lot of ladies are really searching for marriage partners but there are men as well in the same boat.Spoke with a lot time friend who is in his late 30's last week and he was desperately praying and searching for a lady to marry- i was surprised as i thought that he got married ages ago.

NL member: Only foolish women think they need marriage to continue existing.

Ladies please, establish yourselves and try to achieve something meaningful with your life instead of killing yourselves over marriage.
If lonliness is what you're worried about then adopt kids or get a surrogate for heavens sake. What sort of nonsense desperation are they having?

I don't get why religious women even desire marriage at all. It does nothing but put them into a position of servitude to another person for the rest of their lives.
u r 100% correct. Marriagi is nt everytin. Many r married today n live in reget. A good relationship wit God is more beneficial dan any marriage.

I am under the impression that Nigerian men are rejoicing over this article like they do every time the issue of single women is raised. Is there something about single women being desperate that gives you o-rgasms or am I missing something?

The truth is that we have many men who are also searching for a wife but can't find one, because most of our ladies this days didn't grow up to be a wife. They grew up as harlots, having sex recklessly, dressing nude, partyin daily, smoking, drinking, lacking respect, gold diggers and can't even cook. Tell me, which man will want to have such a lady as a wife. <not me offcourse>.
For Those that kept themselves undefiled all thru, God usually sent them their husband at the appointed time.

1, cut off from too many female friends.
2, minimize your activities on social websites.
3, don‘t look down on any man.
4, get educated and aquire a university decree.
5, don‘t frequent night clubs all the time.
6, learn to support your man.
7, join activity department in your church and get committed.
8, don‘t go into competion with any of your friends.
9, put your trust in Jesus Christ.

Re: Nigerian Ladies Worry Over Scarcity Of Men by Jesslord: 5:42pm On Sep 07, 2013
The reason for dis is far frm wat haz been given above.the reason is bcuz gurls do give guyz wat shld be given in marriage, hence guyz enjoy before marriage wat shld be enjoyed afta marriage. And wen need is satisfied,u wil go wif me dat it doesn't motivate any longer. Until gurlz change diz state of affair, diz issue [scarcity of real men] wil intensify.
