Got mine today, excited initially... Same story.
I always encourage my friends to type d name of any confusing company on google and put nairaland beside it and search. Av gotten mails from various scammers but thanks to God and trends like dis on nairaland, I easily learn from experience instead of falling a victim.

I had read this thread before only to receive the evil mail today..I didn't even open it..I hit delete, went to trash and hit delete again.. good riddance..

Thks u all, I equally got a mail from the thief called oasis petroleum & was so reluctant. l think EFCC & ICPC should try looking into such thing besides even making time to visit Nairaland for inform/followup action. It is very easy to apprehend them through the so call First bank account holder, Engr Benson Vicent Samson with 3077244087 account number. Besides, I wish l could know the people involved in the payment so as to comply a list for further action blc this is getin out of hand & so crazy.

Our so called leaders ar nt interested in this bt hw 2 win 2015 elections. Great shame 2 dis country!

The Management of Oasis Oil and Gas wish to bring to your notice that the recruitment selection team short listed you based on your academic qualification and not experience, the organization will train all employed to the standard of the organization for a period of 6 months management trainee course fitting into different areas as follows

I got mine 2 on d 5th of nov,was excited @ first until I got 2 where we av 2 pay 3k beh fortunatly 4 me I cald ma sis up cos she works wiv first bank nd I send her d name nd account number only 2 find out dat d owner of d account is a welder nd he jezz opend d account 3 deas b4 dey sent us d mail.so she orderd dem 2 close d acct immediately.may God hlp us 4rm all dis scammers.pls let's b careful on how we apply 4 jobs nd no real company wil ask yhu 2 pay moni.b wise.

I sent my CV to e-recruitment@adexec.com last week cos I saw an ad on an online job board that the coy using the address is recruitment. And I got the Oasis mail today. I just hope I don't have to close my yahoo account because of scams like this. I've been using the account for years now and I registered on mainly social platforms using it. And thank Heavens for Nairaland. Seven save us!
