Does The Mother Have An Influence On The Sex Of The Baby? by charlsecy4(m): 3:16pm On Sep 15, 2013
I read that it is the male that determines the sex of the baby. The man's system has XY chromosome, while the woman's has XX chromosome. The female always releases the X chromosome. If the male's Y-chromosome sperm fertilizes the female egg, the sex of the baby will be male; otherwise, the gender of the baby will be female.

However, there are cases where the woman is always giving birth to babies of a particular gender, say, females, but when the man makes another woman pregnant the outcome is a male. My question is, does the mother's system influences the sex of pregnancy outcomes, in any way?

Sex determination depends on the man's sperm chromosome. Actually, the sperm contain two types of chromosomes, the XX (which leads to female offspring) and the XY chromosomes.
there's a theory that states that the position of the egg during a woman's menstrual cycle plays a part in the gender of the baby. It has not been proven to be 100% effective though.

yeah true talk there. I think instead of mother inlaws to blame their daughter inlaws for not having a male child, they should blame their sons because it is their chromosomes that determine the sex of the child.
