As a lady I think you should pick mechanical/manufacturing engineering. It will give a kind of stand out status from other ladies. But, you should know the one that is your more preferred option ![]() |

@candygal don't choose a career simply because its flashy. I am a fresh computer science graduate and I can tell you I had many girls in my class who were lamenting their wrong choices by the time they got to 300 level while there were other girls who gave us a run for our money (I mean girls who compete with you every step of the way). Picking mech engine simply because it will make you stand out is a very wrong choice. Pick it if you feel you have the necessary discipline and if you feel it satisfies your future plans. Computer science/engineering is not also a totally good idea too because even though its an interesting and rewaarding field, the output will depend on what you put into it and unlike mech engine where recruiting companies might be willing to accept graduates for on the job teaining, computer firms are looking for finished products (Hotheads and I-started-programming-in-the-cradle-kind-of-guys ). Either way, it all comes down to what you wanna do. ciao baby. have a good life and keep an open mind. See you at the top. |
