Well I nevered rilly saw anytin in a guy using chain and in fact I love it buh when u asked dis question I met a flate mate of mine (a guy) and asked and he started givin me all d lectures on it..well didn't knw it was bad buh even nw I can't rilly fathom y. Normally I can allow my son 2 wear chain buh nt earrings or make his hair..dat 1 is a big No buh 4 chain am yet 2 undastand wots bad in it.

i wear my lil white gold chain around most times, and am cool with it, i dont see anything wrong in wearing necklace, it looks good on men, especially when its real and not fake..

@adeokunade: There is a world of difference between "a BOY' .... and "a MAN".

Just likel would not expect to find a Condom in the wallet or wardrobe of "a boy"...... but perfectly responsible if he were "a MAN", as in a grown man.

As for a Necklace, its an "adornment" ... something that is used to enhance one's beauty!
And who says it is only women that need adornment?

I guess l am not the only one that noticed that majority of women will condemn a man using a necklace (though the same people will agree if makes women look good!) since they are under the wrong impression that it is only women that are supposed to look good.
After-all, if a man looks too dashing, he might just become the subject of more than "one female's attention" (and women dont like competition at all )

Shoes, nice shirt, sun-shades, well-cut pants/trousers, wristwatch, perfumes, just to mention a few, all fall into the same category of "adornment" that makes us look good ... and it is not meant to be exclusive to women alone.

Now, dont get me wrong, "MEN" must do it in moderation" ..... as they have other means of adorning themselves (like good shape, lovely biceps, no pot-belly, clear skin, clean smell, e.t.c)

It depend on the type . If its a tiny one made of may White gold that is noT shouting it will look cool on the guy but all those big big ones that will make him look like a gay is nt adviceable.

As a guy, I personally do not like any kindof accessories. Be it Handband, Necklace, Wristwatch etc.. It makes a guy looks irresponsible. I believe girls don`t like it on guys either. I just like being simple.
