While driving my rover 600 of recent, I started noticing that it goes off while am on motion and I have to restart or allow it to roll and start while on gear. Pls what shd I do? I have recently changed the fuel filter and plugs. |

tell ur mechanic to increase the trottle level. ur car trottle level must be very low thats why. |

car-doctor: Car-Doctor, all but 2 Rover 600 models used the Honda 1.8 / 2.0 / 2.3 16V engines. The only exception was the 2.0 16V turbo, and I believe the turbo diesel. So the OP's car is pretty much a Honda Accord with a Rover badge. August21: tell ur mechanic to increase the trottle level. ur car trottle level must be very low thats why. This is why your cars are turned to piles of rubble. Increase the idling speed, when it's controlled by the ECU? There's nothing to adjust! The Honda / Rover ran PGM-FI, with no idle speed manual adjustment possible. |

@ Ikenna, 1996 model, @car-doctor yes with honda engine 2.0, @sienna, pls what shd I do then? Thanx for all ur inputs, hope to narrow it down to something, cos it has added another problem today. The problem is it refused to start when I just stopped to pick some items a@d I have to wait for like 30mins after making sure that the fuel is thru to tje injector from the filter. |

Well, its finally done. @ibukadantata, I replaced the key brushes and fuel pump and vrooooooom. Thanx all for ur efforts. |
