Hi peeps Do any pharmacy school in we country offer Biologics in their curriculum? Biologics are medcines/drugs gotten frm the sythenzination of the human moleclues, unlike the traditional pharma that is chemically sythenzised. And it is the fastest growing segment in the bio industry cos of its low side effects, cheaper model though more compex. 1 Like |

Inemobot: How much are intern pharmacist paid in nigeria? Pls write only the amount thanks.it varies!!! U can intern in hospitals, fac of pharmacy, sum research centres, sum admin centres (nafdac) and etc. So d pay varies, my faculty pays about 140k. Some hosp pays close to 200. State hosp dnt pay much. But mostly above 90K generally. |

#me@:close 200k for intern pharmacist? The CMD probably wanted to be a pharmacist or the spouse is one  Most tertiary hospitals pay between 130k-140k. That close 200k may be obtainable from National hospital and may be oil companies. Intern dr in teaching hospitals earn 180k on the average so it is almost impossible to get that much for a pharmacist. |

Research pharmacists are mostly supported by pharma companies. Pfizer backed-researchers invented the drug Viagra. Question is how drugs compaines do we have that can adequtaley fund RT& D(Research,Training and Developemt? |

Not to worry, you will understand more as you grow up  The pharma companies are not ready to sponsor research in Nigeria for obvious reasons. The rather outsource their research to India or the West.
