Even though d so called ASUU resume on monday n SSANU are still on strike das means schools as not resume bcus dos re d pple who's going 2 open d school gate,offices,library,laboratories and others. But FG shuld also facilitate 2 pay d ASUU please we're tired @ome

i am a SSANU member, let me educate you... lecturers technically are senior staff as well but belong to ASUU. NASU comprise of staff below level 6/7 and are commonly referred to as the junior staff once you cross level 6 you become a SSANU member which are the senior non teaching staff.

You have wrong info too. ASUU is part of SSANU. The senior staff association includes all lecturers and senior non-academic staff who are mostly graduate staffers.

NASU includes all non-academic staff excluding ASUU. Some SSANU members belong to NASU

To me,strike is to Nigeria and the university system a must,it truly embitters me that our edu.system get worst every fateful day and our leadership and leaders themselves heads for the rock.well,let see what happens on 1st october and after then,if the strike persist then,it's a shame to Nigeria and her leaders to unsolve a national problem and spend wastefully on a mere event'

quite agree but we are talking about unions, i belong to non academic staff so i am supposed to be NASU but my union dues are deducted by SSANU based on my grade level. ASUU is part of senior staff but render their dues to ASUU.

This is not about Federal and State. FYI, SSANU means Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities.

Am not going back to work until i receive alert that salary has been paid, i don't really know where osun defender got its story from but sunday tribune says that FG has not even bothered to respond to the issue at hand.
