Qualifications and Experience
Post 1: Applicants must possess at least a B.Sc. Degree
with minimum of Second Class Upper Division In any of
the following: Plant Breeding, Biochemistry, Taxonomy,
Microbiology, Agronomy, Nematology, Virology,
Biotechnology, Biometrics/Statistic, Physiologist,
Entomologist and Plant Pathology.
Post 2: Applicants must possess an M Sc. Degree in the
disciplines listed in item one above.
Post 3: Applicants must possess Ph. D in the disciplines
listed in item one above plus one reputable Journal
Publication and two Conferenc&Seminar Papers.
Post 4: Applicants must possess HND in General
Agriculture from a recognized Institution.
Post 5: Applicants must possess HND in General
Agriculture plus 3 years post qualification cognate
experience.
Post 6: Applicants must possess a degree in any of the
following disciplines: Public Administration, Political
Science, Law, Sociology and other related Social
Science Subjects.
Post 7: Applicants must possess HND in Laboratory
Technology, Microbiology, Virology or Biochemistry
from a recognised Institution plus 2 years post
qualification cognate experience.
Post 8: Applicants must possess a degree in
Accountancy from a recognised University.
Post 9 Applicants must possess a degree or HND in
Electrical Electronic Engineering or Instrumental
Technology/Maintenance from a recognized Institution
plus at least two years post qualification cognate
experience.
Post 10: Applicants must possess a Bachelor Degree in
Education (B.Ed) or NCE plus two years post
qualification cognate experience.
Post 11: Applicants must possess a degree in any of the
following: Mass Communication, Journalism, English and
any other Arts Subjects with two (2) years post
qualification cognate experience.
Post 12: Applicants must Possess a degree in Library
Science, from a recognised institution.
Post 13: Applicants must possess Doctor of Optometry
(OD) Degree registerable with the Optometrist and
Dispensing Opticians Board of Nigeria and has
successfully completed the NYSC Scheme plus 3 years
post qualification cognate experience.
Post 14: Applicants must possess HND in Secretarial
Studies plus at least three years post-qualification
cognate experience.
Applicants are expected to possess NYSC discharge
certificate or exemption certificate.
Condition of Service:
Condition of Service are similar to those existing in
Research Institutes and Allied Institutions.
