Many areas in Festac, ikotun, Ijegun, Igando, Abule Ado and many more towns in Lagos have been in total darkness for about 2 weeks now. Sources say the black-out was due to vandalisation of major cables; what is the situation in your area? When last have u had power?

The thread is about blackout in Lagos and not Enugu.

@ post, since Saturday evening there's been total blackout in my area at Ojo. The light was restored about 2 hours ago. I heard the problem was traced to Ejigbo.

Omo, I never get light since friday night o! This is really terrible. Even before then, we barely have six hours a day. After some pple will have us believe the electricity situation is improving when it is obviously not, even if it is, I don't think it has affected majority of Nigerians. I sincerely pray this power reforms turns out well but I just don't trust this govt. Reporting from igando.

There is no widespread power blackout in Lagos. Stop spreading false news. Maybe there is power blackout in your area but dont generalize. I have been having superb power supply since independence day.
