So I enjoy song reviews but never thought I'd do one really until i watched the alligator mv for the first time. Now MONSTA X are my second favorite group that actually got me invested in like details of all the members' lives and stuff like that. But this album i expected a lot from because it succeeded Are you there which was a nice album with a great title track. A summary of this review incase you don't like to read...............if i slap MONSTA X ehn.

1)Intro: We are here: Not going to bother rating this.

2)Alligator: This song i didn't like at all which is really strange because their title tracks always get me. This one grew on me after multiple listens and getting used to its weird patterns. The rapline killed it as always even though this is not their strongest rap. Joohoney!!! Now I'm really close to loving it. But it isn't their best title track for me, at alllll. 3/5

3)Ghost: huh, this had potential but ehn ehn. Not much to say, 2/5 if not 1.5 sef. It sounds like what you'll play in a Nigerian movie at a ghost scene....it's a ghost, ghost, ghost, ghost

4)Play it cool: this song is the result of the Steve Aoki collaboration so i really expected a loooot. The drums in the beginning....YES!!! Ugh. It's more Steve Aoki at a festival kind of edm than the sick plain beats Steve Aoki and I'm annoyed. I'm really annoyed. The song is not bad but it's kind of plain and then the fact that that futuristic David Guetta-ey stuff is what is the only highlight is annoying....no offense to DG. Because of high expectations and low output....1/5

5)No reason: to like this album? I concur. Okay, I'm just bitter... Let's get it. This one that it's starting with head voice....I said it. Kihyun is shouting his falsetto in my ear. I only enjoy falsetto in small doses but it's like they'll even rap in falsetto so f*ck me. Looool, at the last part they all sound like hungry birds with sore throats LMAO. These people have finished me today. What is really going on in this album? I'm confused oh. 1/5 I'd give it a 0 but ......

6)Give me dat: This one is starting like a better song then it will now fall flat like obuluku. I'm not getting my hopes up abeg. Wonho started with his smoky kind of voice, noiiiice. Okay, this is going well. Okurrrr I'll give you that!!!! Okay, I.M introduced himself and slayed then Joohoney came up next,sooooft. Fina-f*cking-ly a song that's more than 2. Yaaaas, the last little postchorus shit i like!!! Sigh, they're coming back to their senses a little. 2.8/5 loool,because i feel like it's still not up to a 3.

7)Turbulence: uhm okay? Oooh. Sigh. Another one with potential that just doesn't sit right. Even the rap didn't go well in my ear at all. Bye Felicia 2/5.

8 )Rodeo: okay!!! Might be a good one, i say that with a bucket of salt. Yaaaas, lit rap from I.Mpossible!!! Oh okay!!! The chorus sounds like something bigbang sang, which is not a bad thing at all!!! But i don't think it.... fits them. Sigh. 2/5.

9)Stealer: Okrruuuurrrrrr. The heartbeat, the gun. The lowtoned singing and rapping....YES!!!! OH F*CK!!! WHY THE F*CK DID THEY RUIN THIS WITH THAT BRIDGE AND CHORUS? JUST F*CKING END ME. Sigh. Another one bites the dust. 2/5

10) Party time: just play let me end my misery. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. AHHHHH, I.M just saved this song from being a 1/5!!! He's sooo good and his cute apology got me smiling!!! 2/5

It's funny how alligator got the highest rating. I thought there'd be better songs. Sigh. At least i really like that one, that's the only song that is a favorite. Sigh.

Okay seriously, after all their albums, with Jealousy, Livin' it up and Shootout and the accompanying albums in 2018 alone (livin' it up was a single though) this is veeeery disappointing. Like.
