ShymmexLion: That's my shyte right there.

I didn't know Nigerians were into Dr Who like that.

However, Nigeria needs to keep those classics and exchange them for the Oduduwa head in the British museum! tongue
grin The British would rather let us keep Dr. Who than exchange it for that priceless art.

My favourite episode was the one with Sutechk the Destroyer. NTA kept repeating the series with the Dialekts (Exterminate! Exterminate!) And my favourite Dr Who was Tom Baker.

Well, Nigeria needs to keep those tapes.

The cryogenic chamber. They were kept there to preserve them.

Late 90's? Why do I feel I watched it in the 80's or early 90's? cheesy
The tapes that were found weren't even the Tom Baker's which ran from 74 - 81, but tapes of the 60's of a different doctor.
I'm sure most of us watched the Tom BaKer episodes.

Just thought i'd start the juvenile tribal spat:

cybermen have igbo heads

Davros the leader of Daleks have yoruba heads

the clip below reminds me of die-hard Youroba and Igbo civil war veterans reprising their 60's fight in the 21st century.

It was shown in the 1980s. What I meant was that the last time it was shown on the NTA was probably in the late 1990s or early 2000s.

Dr Who is a time lord who travels through time and space in his Tardis (Police box). In the earlier series, it is said that the Tardis has a fault. This means that they usually end up in a different planet or century from their intended destination. In the later series, it is said that the Tardis has a mind of its own and decides where it wants to take the Doctor.

The Doctor is often accompanied on his travels by some humans. They often have to fight against aliens, robots or ancient gods.
