The Muslims attach much importance to their rams during Sal-ah. Some kill as many as 5 and they make a show of It. In Ijebu Ode for sure, many slaughter their rams in front of their houses in public glare with the kids having a nice time panting up and down. My question? Can our Muslim brothers in Europe and America do this without the associations preventing cruelty to animals swooping on them? If not, how do they kill their ram? If they buy from abattoir, has that satisfied the religious injunction? Just curious. |

The Islamic injunction is just to shed the blood of either the ram,goat, or cattle in form of a sacrifice. The religion is not concern with the meat..u can eat the whole of it with your family, or share some parts with poor people that doesn't have the priviledge of slaugthering an animal. So I think Muslims in those countries can go to the abbatoir and have it slaughtered there, or come to home along with it and slaughter it inside their houses. Any how they wish.
