I always laugh when people say "I'll never stop using such and such product" especially when there are better products out there. Hardware keyboard is not missed on more modern smart phones mainly because that space has been put to better use as screen real estate when you are not typing which overall makes for a better user experience plus current onscreen keyboards are so smooth and responsive you forget the lack of haptic feedback most times. Another point to consider is Blackberry is at a crossroads and can easily lose their hardware business. All current Blackberry customers could suddenly find themselves without support from the maker of their phones just like Nokia has declared end of support for symbian. While that won't stop the phones from working it will definitely make it difficult to keep the phone running as there will be no more spares and sundries for them. Blackberry loyalty may be a misplaced sentiment at this time. |
