TRUTHFUL LIES Some things are hard to say Some things are not just for today I can feel your heart is heavy Like a warship loaded by the navy You feel you should say a lot But you don’t know if it’s right or not It’s like the same truth that will set you free If said, could also make me flee So you choose to avoid waking the truth while it lies Since you can afford to feed me with your lies It’s true, the truth may be bitter But you must know your lies don’t taste better And if you think hiding the truth has made you clever Then you must know that the truth can’t be hidden forever The truth will someday come to light Maybe it’s just not tonight. -Amberacious poems http://amberacious./2013/10/24/402/ 2 Likes
