First and foremost, I would like to apologize for the delay. This debate was supposed to take place weeks ago and I was unable to fulfill my promise at the time. As I am now available, more than ever would I like to proceed.

So, the chosen topic for the first debate is "does religion make or mar relationships?"

I will be contacting all of them and will give them 24 hours from the time the messages are sent to either accept their roles as judges or participants or decline.

As we have three Nairalanders expressing interest to judge, we still have at least two slots available as we need a total of five judges.

Seven members have expressed interest to debate, meaning we have at least three slots available as we would like a total of ten participants.

The debate is scheduled to hold on 9 November 2013 @ 6:00pm West African Time. Anyone who is curious as to how the debate will hold can view last year's debate as the format will be the same.

Anyone else who is interested in the remaining slots should post whether or not they would like to judge or partake. Those partaking should also tell us which side of the debate they are choosing to debate: MAKE or MAR.
