The Golden eaglets look a sure bet to break the 24-goal record set by Germany at the 2011 edition. If the eaglets stay focused, and not suffer from stage fright, the goals will flow.

We definitely need to ensure we take our scoring chances (so far seems we have good strikers). Its interesting to note that the Mexicans had higher ball possession 56% to Nigeria's 44% in the last game.

Fynestboi: Mexico have officially recovered from their opening-day hammering at the hands of Nigeria by beating Argentina 3-0 in the last four in Abu Dhabi to reach the final of UAE 2013 would Nigeria get pass them to lift the trophy for the 4th time... ??
yes!!!! The golden eaglets will beat mexico and win d trophy for the 4th time. Why? The eaglets have the most flexible midfield in the competition.

I dont no d problem of Nigerians @ all, must d eaglet beat mexico 20-0 in group stage b4 dey believe in golden eaglet dat dey can beat d mexican. Dey drew with sweden in group stage because dey ar nt yet improved in d game, moreover sweden also improve drastically b4 dey met yesterday so dey should av beaten Nigeria den, but d eaglet trash dem.So d eaglet only need nt 2 underate d mexican. 6-1 is nt a small tin. I even dream dey trash d mexican 6-2. Though all my predictations ar nt right but d goal different ar always right

These ar my former predictation
Nigeria5-3 Uruguay
Nigeria4-1 sweden

I hope it will repeat itself and Nigeria will score 4-nil

Mexico has gotten stronger since their opening day 6-1 trashing by nigeria.
So d scoreline in d finals would be half of the group stage scoreline .So nigeria would win by 3-1/2

Polio:

Football doesn't work like that .. Dont use the first meeting to judge the finals

I repeat, this is a FINAL, it is a different ball game!
In football anything is possible. And winning 4-0 is highly possible especially when its d super golden eaglets. Not saying dat would be d scoreline ooh.But its very possible with dese boys.
My own prediction is 3-1.

2013 Definately one of,if not the best year in nigerian football if we win the trophy.
AFCON trophy,U-17worldcup trophy,Worldcup qualification,CHAN qualification.
What a great year !!!
Three Trophies in one Year:-
1)AFCON
2)Mandela challenge(i no care,na still trophy)
3)U/17 worldcup.
What more can u ask for ??
I see d trophy cabinet of ghana full of cobwebs. My goist, so scanty and isolated.

lacicrips: I want to see a friendly match between this team and the super eagles.

So because they've done well now u want them to " pass their boundary " super eagles are far ahead of these babies , only Mikel "s lap in the mid field will cos a big barrier for them and don't forget experience matters a lot , don't quote me , I have not mentioned age here.

Let the keep developing till they ripe enough to become champion ... They are presently the under 17 youth champion

souleymon: Nigeria were made to work for their 3-0 semi-final win over Sweden in Dubai, a result that sends them to the final of the FIFA U-17 World Cup. Taiwo Awoniyi scored his third goal in two games to help send the Golden Eaglets through to the ultimate match, where they will meet Mexico in another Group F rematch.

The game started at a tremendous pace, both sides carving out half-chances inside the first 60 seconds. After the initial frenzy of attacks cooled, the pattern of play became clear. The Nigerians pressed forward in waves, trying to pin Sweden back and cut off the supply lines to foraging striker Valmir Berisha.

In the end, the Nigerians were in no mood to be charitable. They got their insurance goals inside the last ten minutes. Samuel Okon cut in from the left and hammered his shot low and inside the post to end Sweden’s dream. It was all over even before Chidera Ezeh added a third seconds later to make it 3-0 and send Nigeria to the final, where they will be pressing hard for their fourth title.

The picture below showed me saying
I MADE FRONT PAGE AGAIN...lol
Thank God for you!

Mexicans coming again 4 another defeat. Why not just accept second position b4 the match begins and avoid wasting efforts and time on Friday? don't they have good advisers in their country who can help them out of the impending Golden Eagletonic calamity? Silver is a great achievement 4 these ones.

Eaglets’ll be turbo-charged against Mexico
Garba last night saw his charges steam-roll their way to the final of the tournament, with a comprehensive 3-0 bashing of Sweden at the Rashid Stadium in Dubau and speaking at the post-match conference, a jubilant coach said he was in seventh heaven to see his troops damage their Scandinavians, who he praised for reaching this stage of the tournament.

While also hailing Mexico for reaching the final after suffering a 6-0 opening defeat against the Eaglets, Garba said he was confident that his troops would make it a double against the North American side, who have ousted Brazil and Uruguay to reach the summit.

“Sweden tried but we showed our quality. I commend my players for achieving this victory and hope for a similar performance against Mexico, who I commend for getting to this stage.

They have done well and earned their place in the final but my team are turbo-charged for
the final.

“We have come this far, playing well and it is time for God to crown our efforts with the Cup on Friday.”

**singing praises first b4 praying**
Chorus:- All we are saying, win mexico.
Chorus:- (repeat x2) All we are saying give ur 4 goals.

*we are in prayers**
In jesus name amen. Father lord we thank u for today, we thank u for counting us among the living. We thank u for making it possible for us Nigeria, (the most populous black nation on earth) to make it to the finals of this under 17 world cup, father lord u know how u ve said that any under 17 world cup tournament hosted in Asia, our name is written on the trophy, just like u did it for us in 1985, 1993, and 2007. Do it again father lord in this 2013, today to be precise. Let us win mexico the same way we won them in the group stages, we dont care if we win by a single goal, but father, by the end of todays final match, let us be the ones smiling not the ones crying. Let us celebrate with out trade mark "YES" "YES" "YES" as many times as possible. I knw we can play football, but without ur grace we cant win today, please God answer our prayers. We ve suffered plenty disappointment this year, ASUU strike is above them all, as i A̶̲̥̅♏ A̶̲̥̅ victim of that strike. Put smiles on millions of nigerians today evening with victory against MEXICO. This i pray with thanks. In jesus name i pray.

The coaching and technical crew should warn the entire squad to take away dat stupid attitude of attempting to show off individually by wanting to score a goal when other player/players is in a very good position to do so......... Do not forget that was one factor that led to our defeat to ‪#‎ Switzerland‬as ‪#‎ SaniEmmanuel‬ ‪#‎ Okoro‬and ‪#‎ Kayode‬were all trying to get d GOLDEN BOOT......... THEY SHOULD PLAY COLLECTIVELY AND THE TROPHY IS NAIJA BOUND......... Up up up the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria
