CBN is planning to introduce ATM machines from which money withdrawals will be made using your fingerprint.

Personally, i think using your fingerprint to withdraw money from an ATM machine has some dangerous setbacks. In a country like Nigeria with a very high crime rate, imagine a scenario whereby armed robbers will drive unsuspecting passengers to an ATM machine and ask them to withdraw money from their accounts for them. With the fingerprint ATM machine, all your accounts will be visible and vulnerable. As a result, the passenger will most likely lose more money to the thieves unlike with an ATM card where the thief can only withdraw money from one bank account.

Fingerprints are very easy 2 lift, jst wit a cellotape nd diz makes it less protective dan d card. Besides i can send sum1 2 withdraw 4 me wen am sick.. With fingerprint, i cant unless my finger becomes detachable
