Well, i cant really quote the labour law but i think its dependent on the policies of the organisation. In my former place of work, you were requested to give one month notice or pay one month salary in-lieu of notice. Where i am now, you are requested to give three months notice or three months salaries. However, in my friend's organisation, you are requested to give one month notice or pay one month basic salary
