Please, your excellency of Kogi state, we beg you in the name of the Almighty God to help us repair that road, the road is taking too many lives, you know, this is the second time your convoy will be having accident on the road and im sure several motorists too will have at one time or the other fell victim too. This plea is not only for our benefit alone, but also for you and your households too, so that you and yours too wont also be a victim of your negligence one day. May God help you. Thanks. 3 Likes |

It won't be fair to link this accident with the ongoing strike, because accident can occur at anywhere and anytime and to anyone. May the dead rest in peace and also give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss 4 Likes |

Patrick Obahiagbon giving his condolence on facebook; "The grand initiation of Professor Festus Iyayi is a lancinating loss of another stentorian voice, against retrograde and prebendal forces of primitive mercantilism. That he passed through transition on matters pro bono publico, bears eloquent testimony to our state of dystopia.Such is the evanescence of life. Its all vanitas vanitatum...." |

Prof. Festus Iyayi, based on my personal experience, is very fatherly, down to earth, magnanimous. Even without prior familiarity with me, he made frantic effort to aid my securing a job in UNIBEN; he spoke with the dean of social sciences on my behalf, and he linked me up the VC's P.A. in the bid to monitor my application letter. Though, the understandable intrigues surrounding job recruitments in UNIBEN haven't made his efforts fruitful, l deeply appreciate and acknowledge his immense concern for my cause. Prof. Festus Iyayi, you are a GREAT MAN and shall be missed by very many people. REST IN PEACE! 2 Likes |

B_CELLS: Call off this lingering strike, they keep holding congresses high and low.How many of the so called lecturers voted before they embarked on the industrial action?Pressure is now mounted on them to call off the strike, they are casting votes like Nigeria is having an election, live and let's live, that position you are today, you can not be there forever!..I hope it won't inhibit the calling off the strike as speculated. RIPnice line, no king last forever. |
