I'm not surprised. Is that why they were crying foul on the 22hr curfew... so the thugs can roam as planned? Wow!

Those Osun APC youths brought dangerous weapons to cause mayhem in Anambra, no wonder APC slams INEC over 22 hours curfew proposed to impose in the satate.

The thugs and the fraudsters are detention, even alhaji Okorocha could not save them (advantage of not having state police),they won't have the chance to carry out their nefarious activities during the election. A man who allows his head to used to break a coconut won't be around when the coconut will be eaten.

Say no to boko haram party, say no to one man rule party, say no to a party that increases tuition fee by 1,000 percent.

I'm glad na for my state they catch those criminals grin grin grin.

Police arrest 180 persons in Owerri

on november 15, 2013 at 2:07 pm in news
Owerri –

The Police in Imo said it has arrested 180 persons from Osun state with “voter cards’, `INEC identity cards’ and `Independent Observer identity cards’.

The Commissioner of Police in the State, Mohammed Katsina, told a news briefing in Owerri on Thursday that two pump action rifles, live ammunitions, 15 buses and other incriminating materials were recovered from the persons.
He said that the persons, who came from Osun, were heading to Anambra ahead of Saturday’s governorship elections
.

“They were arrested while waiting to link up with their contacts in Anambra. The suspects were on a mission to breach the peace in the state and will be prosecuted.
“The security agents and the command had worked so hard to attain peace and will not allow any politician, no matter how highly placed, to compromise it”, he said.

One of the suspects, Salawo Ayodele, denied the alleged intent to rig the Anambra election.
He said they were members of an independent election monitoring body called ‘Equity and Justice’ and that they had merely planned to go and observe the election.
He added that they were given N10,000 each as allowance for their feeding during their stay in Anambra. (NAN)
