The All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party have expressed different opinion in the Anambra governorship election, which was held on Saturday.

While the APC demanded a total cancellation of the entire election based on alleged massive disenfranchisement of people across the state, which it said was caused by the blatant incompetent and/or deliberate sabotage by the electoral commission itself, the PDP said the APC wanted to rig the election with thugs.

The ruling party therefore commended the people of the state for what it described as the peaceful and orderly conduct of the election.

However, in a statement issued in Lagos on Sunday by its Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed,the APC said the call for total cancellation supersedes its early call for a rerun in four local government areas,and is based on the report it received from its agents as well as from local and foreign observers during the poll.

This is a warning to ALL who associate themselves with a party that it's founders and supposed leaders indirectly support Boko Haram (Terrorism), they support deportation, support all forms of barbaric nuisance, that have no respect for our traditional rules and laws, ALL shall be buried in THE GRAVE OF SHAME AND DISGRACE. PDP leaders never supported Boko Haram, at least not under the leadership of President GEJ. On the other hand, Buhari promised baboons and dogs soaked in blood. What was their response to BH? They asked govt to settle them and give them monthly allowance, and indirectly supported their deeds, even showing concern for them... PDP had always spoken against it, even their northern governors... APC is a canker worm to us, we must dismantle them.

I never knew ppl can go to this extent to deny the truth, I thought the only Senator arrested for being a Boko Haram sponsor was in the PDP

Senator Ali Ndume has been arrested last night following allegations that he was one of the sponsors of the dreaded group popularly known as Boko Haram.


He was fingered alongside former Nigeria's ambassador to Sao Tome and Principe, the late Amb. Sa'idu Pindar by a kingpin of the sect, Ali Sanda Umar Konduga, aka, Usman Al-Zawahiri who was paraded by the State Security Service (SSS) in Abuja yesterday as being sponsors of the violent sect.

Though his arrest was not confirmed as at press time, sources said Ndume who is a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senator from Borno State and a former Minority Whip in the House of Representatives, was picked up even before the suspect was paraded and made to speak to journalists at the SSS headquarters.

the thing is this,there seem to be disenfranchisement insome places like idemili north and south,ihiala and awka south...ok remove this lgas from the supposed 16 obiano has won it remains 12.winning 12 lgas out of 21 has almost satisfied the condition of winning andeven if you add the four to ngige's two lgas won it turns to six...question is what is the gurauntee that those all those disefranchised voters were going to vote for ngige?were some of those voters not going to vote for obiano and others?is ihiala and awka south apc strongholds?

PDP is a blood-thirsty party but I think we are better off with them, being the proverbial devils we know.
Revolution is not a bed of roses, its a struggle between the past and the future . APC promising heaven on earth is just a ruse, if taken , will give the masses a rude awakening.
