This Message is meant for the ASUU officials, who have decided that their interest is to be place above that of students. Four and half months have gone by and students are still siting at home waiting for the decision to be made so we can return to school, and just few hours to the decision making meeting a tragic incident happened that led to the demise of the Former ASUU leader and then they(ASUU) have decided to mourn indefinitely, it is wrong and unjust!
The country's Senate President asked for "one minute silence" in respect of the late former leader of ASUU, in his senate meeting and we(students) believe that is enough respect. ASUU is allowed to give him one day silence if they so choose, but saying his death is so devastating that you can't meet is outrageous, because he wanted the strike to be to be called off. And even if he didn't want the strike to be called off please tell us if HE is the PRESIDENT OF ASUU or is he the DECISION MAKER for ASUU?
No disrespect but he is one man, and I can't begin to count how many students have died or been involved in tragic incidents in the past four months as a result of closed schools, yet they are not recognized or mourned.
Please ASUU, we the SERIOUS STUDENTS OF NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES have endured enough and we have decided to give you ONE WEEK to call off the strike or else we will take actions, yes we will! We are tired of being used for personal vendetta, and in the end we loose half or a whole session and gain nothing from the said strike!!! IF the ASUU strike is not called off in ONE WEEK then the students should not be blamed for their actions because it won't be funny....... BE ADVISED

It seems protest has lost its powers in this country so I don't think anybody should protest. If we could be Egyptians for jst a day ASUU go Run go call off the strike @once,but It is so sad that youths are the least respected in naija.Who protest dem dey shoot am down(recall d Asaba incident)without thinking twice.Anywayz there is a protest called "impregnate ur lectures daughter" u can join if u got balls.
