The Chains of modern day African enslavement and the Steps to our Liberation and Sustainability

For years now, I've been talking about the
inferior states of black people, the sufferings, the oppression, the hate, killings, the docility, the exploitation, the lackadaisical attitude of the people, the blind followership, we as black people exhibit, just to name a few. We look at ourselves and the level of knowledge is seriously low and the level of ignorance
astonishingly high.
What is worse than a slave? A slave in free men clothing! A slave who thinks he is free, a slave who has become so used to that state that he has accepted it as a norm. A slave which the master has brainwashed and
conditioned to becoming so faithful and
submissive that he will rather be content in
chains than rise to fight for his freedom. A slave that has been fed with fear, fear of
the seen and unseen, a slave that has been
detached from reality and dumped into a
fantasy land, reduced from a human state in to a far lesser state of a mere dog!

For centuries our homes, lands, societies have been raped, exploited etc. We have been enslaved, oppressed, suppressed, controlled, conditioned and fine-tuned into becoming puppets and the disposal of the puppet-man. Like it is well known to many of us - The best way to enslave a man is to enslave his mind! The mind of the black man has been enslaved for centuries. The body can only do what the mind deems as fit to do and what the mind deems as fit to do depends on what the mind actually contains. If a mind is filled with thoughts of being inferior, being at the mercy of others, being lost, being helpless, being
impotent to do anything himself except with some external help, being directionless etc that mind will act under those principles that has conditioned it.
And what is then worse than a mind in this state? A mind that is actually in this state but assumes it is not! or that has taken what these authorities have planted in its mind as the truth!
A mind that actually thinks what is contained within it is actually natural, the norm, the ultimate, the right thing! That is what is worse!

Because the first category, if enlightened can easily break off and be free, while the second category will die defending the authority is has now accepted as truth and will ward off any reason or enlightenment as its own peril.

We black people, the vast majority of us are in this state, the second state- The state in which we assume what is contained in our minds are the norms, natural and right. Not knowing that we are a mere product of this society, a society that is less than 1000 years old, a society that started from the invasion of the Arab and the Europeans.

I asked a question recently on a public forum: "It's just disturbing and shameful to see BLACK people basing their entire lives and existence on the European version of things.
Question is: Before the invasion of the
Europeans, didn't we exist? Didn't we have cities, civilizations, kingdoms, science,
technologies, gods, etc? How brainwashed are BLACK people now?”

How did we get to this state? How did we get to this state of being so brainwashed to the extent we are merely echoing what we have been mentally conditioned with?
We have completely lost touch with our past and how can we know where we're going to if we don't know where we're coming from?
We surely don't have a clue of where we are coming from! We ourselves have now become the new agents of self and mind control, doing the work of the slave master for him.
Brainwashing our kids and societies with what we have ignorantly called the truth, which is a huge scam, a LIE, A FRAUD!!

And we black people are surely finding it
difficult! And we will continue to find it
difficult till we break off these chains,chains that are no longer on our hands but on our minds! I'll share a simple analogy I wrote long back with you:

"A gang of ruthless and notorious armed robbers break into a house, stealing, killing, looting and raping, while they at it, they give the household a number to dial and call for emergency help(something to keep the family busy and distracted whiled the stole their goods). Now what do you think the family did?
Called the number given to them by the
thieves and hoped/believed help would come?
Would the thieves have given a genuine or fake number? What would you do?
Well, I guess in the case of Nigerians/Africans, we dialed the number given to us by ruthless and notorious armed robbers (colonialists/slave masters) while they were enslaving, stealing and raping our lands, hoping help would come.
And surprise! That FAKE number is religion/god!
Our lands were invaded, our ancestors stolen (some sold), millions killed, our lands
raped by the same people that brought us
these religions, while they looted and raped and enslaved, they kept us busy in churches and mosques praying for a miracle.

Now, I know what I will do, kill those robbers- And I either kill them all or die killing them!
But on the other hands what have we done?
We as a people have picked up that number
and dialed, calling a phony number for help
while our lands, homes, people are being raped, exploited and oppressed.

This was the beginning of it all- This is where we black people shot ourselves right in the head, this is where we slit our throat, ripped our hearts out and handed them over to other men to feed on and this we have done successfully to our offspring, generations and generations we have been subjected to this phone number, while our lands deteriorate, we continue to cling on to that number. - Sad it makes one cry profusely!

generations?

The greatest tool of slavery has been used on us, we have now become the slavers ourselves, the slave master "has gone" but he sure did leave very capable officers in place and a tool of "freedom" through which we have continually enslaved our minds!

What does freedom or independence really mean to us? What are we actually free from or independent from?

When we still cling to things from the slave
masters and colonialists table! When we still
feed from the crumbs off their floors! When we have turned ourselves into "pet negroes" - human dogs that is so faithful we will rather murder ourselves that unite and fight the master for our freedom, we will rather be a pet no matter our vicious and evil the master may be just for the sake of a few pats and a bone - which we gleefully jump at and praise the master!
We have become lost dogs, strolling around on earth, hoping for the masters' return, praying, singing and wishing he returned soon!
How pathetic! How crushing! We have gladly divided ourselves along borders that the masters created for us, along their religions, fighting their battles for them, or rather entertaining them in their coliseum which Africa has become!

Their magic wand of "Divide and Conquer" is
still very much effective amongst us today. We are so divided amongst ourselves it is
unbelievable, simply shocking. The hate,vile and enmity we have amongst ourselves which is largely born from foreign ideas, ideologies and practices is just appalling! How have we let ourselves be this suppressed?
How have we become mere robotic zombies,
heads bowed, waiting for the masters' command? How do we claim to be free when our lives are still bound by the same rules, regulations, standards, laws etc that was set for us by these same slave masters - the Arab and White-man?
Before the invasion of our lands - We Africans had our own practices, our own cultures, our own gods and deities, our own ways of running our societies, governments etc. But since they invaded, we have been forced to do away with them all, they told us all those were bad, evil and all their good and we jumped on the wagon like a couple of Dalmatians
We have bought and we live the idiotic fallacy of "All black things evil - All white things good"

We gladly threw away our past, our history,
erased that from our minds while dancing next to the slave masters and colonialists - We have lost touch with our roots, with our peace and thus we know no peace, we have no direction, we have nothing!
We have lost touch with ourselves and have
become the new toys of the Europeans and
Arabs and hence we have no lives than to be used for their gain, their wishes, for their economic tests and as their slaves! Then comes the "educated" African be it at home or in Diaspora, which will tell you - The slave masters and colonialists aren't to blame, these things happened centuries ago, their gods are the way, the so called African leaders are to blame and all sorts of jargon!
Now even though he might have a point with - African so called leaders as being to blame- well these same people are a product of the same system that I just narrated. How do you want them to act or be? Are the people that elected them into power any different? or are those that sat back, arms folded and watched them take power, any different? It's the tale of the blind leading the blind and this can only happen when you've got a vast majority being blind-
Now again, these are blinds that claim to see, ones living in the fantasy land! Our leadership in Africa or in black communities
will not be this bad and pathetic if not for our own submissiveness, our own lackadaisical
attitude to our lives and future, our docility, our foolishness and stupidity!

But then again: A people get the type of
government they deserve. Wise people can't
get a foolish government; Foolish people can'tget a wise government. Simple as that! It is just sad to see black people living out the lives based on scripts which have been written for them by other men! That is just sad!

Some people might actually have in their
good hearts to want to change, but how can we successfully change when we don't even
understand the roots of the problems that we face?
And look at it, for centuries we have been at this juncture, piled up here so much the ground has started to sink; we have simply been throwing punches in the dark, eyes closed! We can't fight an enemy we don't understand its nature!
We can't solve a problem we don't understand the root cause! We can't move
forward if we don't know where we're coming
from! The roots of our problems are us, we Africans.
We are the roots of our problems and in our
minds these problems has germinated and
grown. We need to uproot that problem right from our minds - We need to emancipate ourselves from mental slavery. We need to throw away the Arab/white man's gods, religions and so called holy books, we need to retrace our steps!
The freedom of the mind is the ultimate form of freedom as a free mind can never be enslaved in any form! This freedom will drive us to unity, we shall finally be free and see ourselves for who we really are- That freedom will drive us to retrace our steps back to the time we were Africans, we will then return back to our roots,
shake off the rules and regulations the foreigners have pinned us down with, the
boundaries they have set for us, our kingdoms they destroyed we shall restore, Unity and peace shall be our foundation.
Then with those all done, we can then return to controlling our lands and resources as we once did when Africa was great, when our kingdoms and people thrived! These are the steps we need to take, this is the path we need to embark on, this is the revolution we need to stand with- It is a mental one, It starts with you, it starts with me- It is a mental revolution that only you and you can do for yourself! It is a solo path to redemption!

1. Give back the white man and Arabs back their gods and so called holy books- Those have been the strongest tools of brainwashing and mental/physical slavery ever!!
2. We need to Stand up and Unite! Return to our Unity as African kingdoms and not nations and countries!

We have to realize that in every society, the intelligent minority rule and set the agenda for the rest.
In Africa, unfortunately, the intelligent are getting fewer, and are not stepping out to set the progressive agenda for the rest.

The issue is that many Africans are too brainwashed into these foreign ideas that they even think their ancestors were no good cave men.

I recently read an article on the Portuguese trades with West African Empires and It stated a lot of good about our people right from the 16th century, The Portuguese compared the major cities to wat they had back home, They appreciated the level at which our people were organized and controlled the cities, The architecture was also greatly admired. But wat do you hear from Africans today? Wat do we even see in movies set at those period? We see bush men living around Forest with abominable buildings.

Wat impression do we give to our traditional priests? how much do Africans know their history? How much do they even believe their history?
Many dont give up on claiming Arab or Hebrew origin.

There's a big problem in Africa and if we don't fight this problem we are Doomed
We shouldn't encourage this foreign tools of mental slavery upon our people, We should fight them strategically and restrict their movements in our land.

If only there's constitutional empowerment and encouragement for those who are free from this Disease.
If only People in Power and those in high positions could show just a little patriotism, pride and love in our identity there would be less corruption, less terrorism.

Accepting an imported Alien Religion has killed our peoples minds!. Africans dont know the consequences of accepting AN ALIEN RELIGION.
If an African accepts Judaism and Christianity as his religion, he has accepted the Caucasian as his visible God. The same with Islam, if an African person accepts Al Islam and its many branches as his religion, then it accepts the Desert Arab as his God. That person cannot have power over, or be equal to the Caucasian, or Arab because here, the Caucasian and the Arab has been accepted as the superior power, and this is why trying to obtain liberty and equality in Caucasian or Arab religion or any alien religion is a CRUEL HOAX! If you look at all of the so called Holy Books that our people are into, they all portray the image of someone other than self. There is not a face of Black/African people of any of these imported religions. To divide Africans they have manipulated religion to an extent that it trains Africans to become mental slaves to Caucasians through Christianity and Arabs through Islam. Remember, you are the original people of the planet earth yet you are following another races view as to who or what god is according to them. That’s why Caucasians will make bible prophets white looking and Arabs will make their prophets look like their race.

As an ex christian i know and can testify to the power of brainwash. It takes an ex slave like my self to know the terrible effect of slavery. After i realized the bondage in which i was heavily chained,it took me 5 years to gain emancipate . I left Christianity and i was still afraid of hell. I had to go through a long process of mind cleansing.

Apart from religion,our educational system is specially meant for black slaves. Look at the state of the whole of black Africa,including majority of the blacks abroad. We are considered to be less human and it reflects in books we study at school. Our history had been erased and we have gladly accepted the story of the Crackers/European(not white man) .

As to Christianity being a culprit. The answer is yes, and no. The strongest lie is the one wrapped around truth. The reason weaponized Christianity is very effective at mind control is because the core of the lie is an actually valid experience. I'm not going to ask anyone to do any reading - simply observe some biblical themes: ratifying covenants by blood, sacrifice and substitute sacrifices, divination by the ephod etc are fundamentally African themes, and are for sure not caucasian in nature. To use a fundamentally African thought process against Africans, you simply have to change all the images (blond Jesus, God that looks like Zeus or Odin etc). Then add in a dose of fear by beating on eternal punishment. And here we are a few centuries down the line.

As an aside, I believe this is the reason Christianity is actually on the wane in western countries. Its not fundamentally their culture. It worked great when they were fighting tyrants, but with the unarguable prosperity they now have, they will likely be backsliding for a while ( I have no idea how long). On the other hand, Africans take to it (sometimes to a fault) because many of the themes (if you read the book without propaganda) actually reflect traditional African thought

To answer the OP directly, I think that looking at religion is tempting, but its not the way to go. I believe even if we went back to traditional religions, it wont change the messed up thinking we have on the continent. One attainable goal would be to elect one fearless, upright leader who can set processes in place long enough to raise a generation with a different mindset. I said fearless, because such a leader will have a target on his back constantly.

This is deep and I like it.


However, the poster is looking at things from a theoretical point of view. The logic is sound in theory but in practice, it has problems.

Why? Human beings are not always logical and "waking up" is not the solutiion.


Infact, many Africans are awake but are they willing to do something about it? When money and personal benefit come into play, many who are awake choose to do nothing.


Let's use Nairaland and real life to illustrate this problem


1) Nairaland
There are many problems atheists face on nairaland- Less access to front page for atheist threads, more likely to get banned for the wrong reason etc.
Many atheists know these problems but when it is time to get together and complain, do we see them doing anything?

A clear example would be the non-christian chatbox in which the op, written by an "isrealite christian", was insulting to atheists and pagans. Can you imagine that? Something for atheists was insulting to them. How many atheists complained? Two! Just two out of about two dozen or more, while the others just looked on.

When the same non-christian sticky thread was derailed by christians, how many atheists were there to complain? One....just one!

Another example would be the case of the "Judas atheist". An atheist who is "awake" but prefers to be a "lapdog" to christian mods to get his threads to the frontpage and other benefits. Even to the extent of betraying fellow atheists to make friends among certain christians.




2) Real life Nigeria
There are many Africans that are awake but are they ready to do anything to solve African problems? For a Nigerian, it becomes a choice between doing the right thing with a lot of hardwork for free OR following the corruption and ignorance to get personal benefits with praise

The point here is that we Nigerians have been tamed. Tamed to accept corruption and dictators. African/Nigerian atheists are the same with Nigerian christians/muslims or theists on this one.


Just look at the situation here on the religion section. How many campaigned for an atheist mod when we were given three born again mods that failed?

Pagan9ja campaigned for an atheist and pagan mod but how many regular atheists did you see there with him? They already accepted the injustice like tamed slaves or animals.

The only hope we have is a foreign saviour


Just as we had foreigners bring religion to us, we need foreigners to bring freethinking to us.


There is quite a difference between Nigerian atheists and foreign atheists. Nairaland vs reddit


The atheists on reddit were stripped of their memes by a Judas atheist mod ( who was probably bribed by xtians). The reddit atheists complained and complained although there were some that were defending the stripping of memes. They made polls showing that an absolute majority wanted the memes back.

There were some indifferent atheists. "Apathetic atheists"- who didnt care about what happened and are just like the "tamed African atheists" who just accepted every injustice like slaves.


When the Judas atheist mod did not agree to return the memes, many atheists left and started their own atheist reddit on reddit ("Atheismrebooted/reddit" which is now in competition with the original atheist reddit)


Now, the Judas atheist mod has returned the memes on the original reddit/atheism after it has become too late.

The moral of the story is that people have to be the change that they want to be. The reddit atheists took the bull by the horns and showed that they wont be bullied. They asked for change and when they didnt get it, they made their own reddit and got their own change.


It is the opposite here on Nairaland. Majority of the atheists here do not even have the guts just to complain. Most silently accepted the appointment of the 3 failed born-again mods. They accepted the insulting non-christian chatbox. They accepted the derailment of the chatbox.



Seriously, I am thankful that I have opportunities overseas.....

I think religion was, still is the strongest weapon used to demolish Africa. Imagine a continent where people has no knowledge of their ancestral chronicle and now believe they are sons and daughters of david, jacob, etc, where people themselves prohibit the use of their own native languages in public, gathering, schools, where people believe prayers are answered only when prayed in other continent's language.
where people sanctify and adore ancient history books of other continents, where people have destroyed what is left of all ancient cultural heritage symbols and replaced them with other continents' believing theirs are evil and the foreigners' are holy. ......the list is unending....
sure, if want to enslave a man, first enslave his mind.
