Wow, this is good news

The highest paid CEO in Nigeria is a woman.

Now where the men at??

My advice to Ms. Sola of Stanbic IBTC? Enjoy your title while it lasts, I'm coming to take over from you cool as the highest paid CEO.

infiniteloop: Interesting list. I won't be shocked though if it happens that some people yet unknown earn more than these people.

In the scale of things, N38m/annum is not lot of money. That's less than N4m/month. I really think there are people who earn more than that, that are not in this list.

The COO in my former company, an ISP does. Not even a CEO. A good job in an oil company and you will have a starter salary of more than N10m/annum, matter of fact. Let alone a job as a senior mgr. My Engineering friends will agree to this.

Great list all the same. smiley

What U said is true. I knew of someone that earns about #30m per annum in one of the oil exploiting companies and he is not even near the position of senior manager talkless of executive director

Does these exclude the value of all other benefits like accommodation, cars etc?

Because these seem relatively low to me. I was expecting at least within the N100m to N200m range for most of them.

Especially for the Mobil Oil guy. I have friends that work in Tax. Hence provide advice on Tax to executives like Oil executives (so they see ALL the earnings of these people) and many oil sector professionals in relatively lower roles to the CEO of Mobil in Nigeria make more than that N85m in the UK.

This figures are not true. I know Senior Managers earn circa 20million per annum in banks. Then compare with GMs, EDs and CEOs.

Also, no bank will disclose the actual take-home pay of their top executives.

Those figures seem to be done by guessing.

I didn't see Dr Jonathan on that list. The CEO of FRN. Dr Ebele Jonathan started his career in d academia before being called up to d public sector. His basic needs cost his employer a staggering 1billion naira and his combined remuneration is about d same yearly.

Why was this CEO omitted from your list?

Lol
