ASUU Calls Off 5 Months Strike.

The Academic staff of University union, (ASUU) has voted in Kano to call off their 5 months old strike.
The Union leaders resolved to inform the president about their decision on Monday, November 25, 2013.

A friend of mine in Kano informed me of the meeting even though it. was held secretly, his elder brother is a lecturer and I can assure you guys that the strike will be called off soon... I really do not know y ASSU is playing on our intelligence tho!

ASSURE? Please don't assure anybody... His elder brother is not ASUU Pres. Only a lecturer.. Soon has taken 5months now... Guy no mind them jo. God is watching... More problems for ASUU members if they refuse to do what the students want now!!

you knw at the secret NEC meeting there was kind of a division 60% of the lecturers mostly from the North want the strike to end,however 40% mostly from the South want it to continue,because they still dont trust the results of 4th Nov. 13hrs meeting with the president,i really cant fix 'em,perhaps a call from him can ameliorate the industrial action.

Now that I want to collect my 4th salary!
