I observed this of late, as some people love to put on wrist-watches that have stopped working. Nairalanders could you share your view or experience on this issue? Should we say wrist-watches make them complete, they see them as an one to be worn or what could be the reason?

I remember trying to correct the time on my phone and I asked a lady what the time says but to my utmost surprise, she responded immediately by saying it has stopped working.
