D war btw ASUU and federal govt is a war of supremacy. I hav been monitoring d news frm both sides since Jonathan met with ASUU on November 4 and today i concluded dat it is a war of "who has more power" between both parties. D NUC chairman just announced dat federal govt will pay full salary arrears of lecturers dat will return to work which happens to be one of d conditions given by ASUU to d fg. D second condition has also been met cos Okupe or woteva says fg has deposited 200billion into an account in cbn. D 3rd condition is d victimization issue which common sense will tell anyone dat hav it dat no one is going to victimize anyone cos dis isnt d first time dat a trade union would be going on strike but ASUU, being d union of intellectuals want it signed on paper incase something goes wrong.d last on d demand list is Jonathan putting his promises on a paper and sign it for proper documentation which Jonathan think no one can force him to sign anything cos he is d president and d commander in chief. Fg thinks ASUU is rude and arrogant in respect to their demands and fg has forgotten dat d reason why ASUU can't trust fg is dat fg has nt fulfilled any of its past promises.my deduction is dat fg and ASUU are just wasting students' time fighting d war of who is more powerful.they are just flexing muscle
